My thoughts

First of all, this is the book 2 of Montello High. Read that first before this.

The main character is Henrietta Arturia and Tres Freniere. Not Summer and Van. There are some scenes na kasama sila but it was no longer focus to them.

Okay, nung una na-disappoint din ako katulad ng marami. Bakit hindi si Summer at Van? Normal lang 'yan kasi sobrang naattached na tayo sa kanila. Pero bakit nga ba? Madaming nagtatanong n'yan kaya sinagot na ni sielalstreim along the lines of because she's the one who will narrate next.

Kapag nabasa mo na yung Montello High kahit tapos na... Hindi mo pa din mapigilang magtanong kung ano na kayang ang nangyari kay ganito, kay gan'yan. Anong past nila? Ano pang tinatago nila? So the answer, would definitely be in book 2.

Dati akala ko ang pagkakaiba lang ni Hetta kay Summer ay mas malakas ito. Kasi parang Summer version 2.0 lang siya. Pero hindi. Yes, meron silang pagkakapareho pero masmadami silang pagkakaiba. Si Tres naman, alam kong magkaibang-magkaiba sila ni Van. Nakadikit sa pangalan n'ya ang awtoridad, tensyon at kapahamakan. Mabasa ko lang ang pangalang Tres, Sebastian o Freniere parang may masamang mangyayari na agad. Pero aminin mo, ngiti-ngiti ka kapag nabasa mo yung pangalan ni Tres. Iba kasi dating ng mga Freniere's eh.

This is a must read. Really. We all knew Ate Sheila. She never disappoints. Hindi siya yung "okay na." Hindi yung may maupdate lang. She's the type of author that needs to satisfy herself first, before publishing it. She's inlove with words. She has high standards. Higher than any readers.
