2) Sasuke x Reader: Save Me

The dirt road crunched beneath your feet as you walked in the middle of Sasuke and Naruto, on your way to your latest mission.

"How much farther?" You asked, hands in your pockets.

"We should be there by morning," Replied Sasuke.

"By MORNING?!" Yelled Naruto, startling nearby birds. "I can't wait till morning! I have to kick some serious ninja butt now!"

"Shut up loser," hissed Sasuke.

Naruto was about to say something before he caught your eye and glared at Sasuke instead.

The three of you continued walking along the forest path, the shadows lengthening as the sun made its way down over the horizon. The only sound was that of the dry leaves, and the neighboring insects and birds, singing peacefully. If you hadn't been so focused on how quiet it was, you might have noticed Sasuke and Naruto watching you carefully.

It came time to set up camp. You were now considerably deeper into the forest, at the end of a trail. The darkening night sky was inadmissible under the towering trees above you.

"I'm going to go get some water, it sounds like we're pretty close to a stream," you say, beginning to walk off.

"No." Say Sasuke and Naruto in unison.

You put your hands on your hips. "What do you mean, 'no'?" You say mimicking the two, "I'm strong enough to look out for myself, thank you very much."

"No y/n, you're not." Said Sasuke, to your surprise. Naruto crossed his arms stubbornly.

You walk up to Sasuke, who doesn't back down. "Listen Uchiha, stop acting like you're better than everyone else. And you-" you pointed at Naruto, "stop treating me like a child."

"Well at least take one of us with you to-" began Naruto.

"Ugh, I don't have time for this." You said, surrendering your hands to the sky in defeat as you walked away. Carrying your water containers, the sound of running water grew closer as the sound of Naruto and Sasuke's bickering grew more distant. You shook your head. "Those boys are so stupid." You thought to yourself.

The sky grew darker as you savored the little time you had alone before it was back to more arguing and stupidity- and the mission hadn't even started yet!

You reach the omniscient stream and fill your water flasks, securing them as crickets begin to chirp around you.

It's not until a hand clamps over your mouth that you realize someone was watching you the whole time.

"Make a move and I snap your neck like a twig." A man hisses into your ear.

You're a ninja. A fighter. But right now, you're alone in the woods at night being held hostage by someone you know nothing about. Your first instinct is to fight back.

You struggle and kick before you feel a cold blade press against your neck that sends shivers down your spine.

"If you don't think I'll do it... maybe this will convince you." The man said.

Tiny drops of crimson looking black under the darkness of the sky leak from your neck as the blade traces your skin lightly. Your eyes widen in fear, and you scream only to be silenced by the man's gloved palm.

Salty tears begin to form on your face- you don't know what to do. The knife is against your neck and your arms are useless seeing as they're enveloped by the assaulter's body... and his hand covering your mouth leaves you with any hope of calling to the others abandoned.
