The Capson Brothers --------------------->
Jen pov
I didn't sleep. We texted each other all night. When Tina fell asleep, I snuck in my walk in closet and closed the door. I took a seat at the dressing table and called him. We spoke for hours. He's asked me to arrange a day where Tina goes to Justin's and he will go too. I've never felt this way before. The whole conversation I was smiling. The sun had come up when we finally said our goodbyes.
I skipped down to breakfast at nine with Tina. My brothers were either out or still sleeping. My parents were absent as usual. Anya, my former nanny from childhood was sipping a cup of coffee at the breakfast table. These days she's in charge of all the staff. And keeping my parents sane. It was her who told me who the boy in blue was.
"You look happy today Jenny. Much nicer to see."
"Well the sun is shining, the party a success -"
"And the Morris boy?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Just a minor bump in the road." I lied, holding in all the amazing things I wanted to say about him.
"Good. Now, Thomas Messer." I zoned out, he's always there to haunt me. Somebody has to bring him up. If I hear his name again today, I'll bring something up.
As if on cue, Prince burst through the door looking furious. "ANYA! Where is my father? He has to know!" Tina and I looked at him confused. He threw the paper on the table.
REECE MORRIS SCORES AN INVITE? OR SPYING FOR FATHER? Full story page six. Plus exclusive pictures pages 2, 3, 4 and 5.
"Look at the pictures!" Tina said full of excitement. There was one of me on the balcony. I looked so serious. The caption underneath read ' "Ice Princess" Jennifer observes the supporters of her father and family entering the house.' There were others of my parents, guests, me and my brothers smiling at the camera. And then, pages four and five were dedicated to me and Tom.
Apparently we are to expect an engagement soon. "Hell no!" I screamed. I'd bet my family’s fortune on Thomas himself being the source.
"Turn to page six." Prince was getting impatient.
"What? This is more important!" He ripped the newspaper from my shaking hands and turned the page. A picture of Reece in his suit smiling. His mask in his hands walking away from the house. A small smile crept onto my face.
"Where is dad?" His head was spinning, looking into the garden and back towards the small lounge.
"At work doofus. I need to call Tom."
"Do what you please Jen, I'm going to dad's office." With the paper in hand he stormed out of the house. My heart was racing. What if someone else except Anya saw us speaking? What if Anya tells my parents?
"I've said nothing dear." It's like she read my mind. "I've seen that look before."
"Like you're psychic or something?" Tina laughed and Anya frowned.
"You like him yes?"
"Anya, I don't know him. If I did I certainly would not have spoke with him." I could feel myself getting flustered. "I'm going to call Thomas." Just like Prince I stormed out of the kitchen.
The phone rang...and rang...and rang. It went to voicemail. "Thomas Messer if I was you I'd run and hide! I've seen the article in today’s paper and I am not impressed!" I yelled in to the phone.
