Chapter 5

••Asuna's pov••

Where am i? Who's that talking? Slowly opening my eye. "Kyaaaahh" i screamed so did the person that was in my face. "Asuna what happened? Why are you screaming?" Rin said running in the room with two other people behind her. "Kaito why are screaming along with her it's already loud." Rin said slapped 'Kaito' on the shoulder.

"Rin where are we or where am i?" I asked quite scared of the new surroundings. "Asuna right now we are at my house." She said a smile on her face. My face lit up in glee and asked. "Am i able to meet your father and mother to give my gratitude for taking me in." I asked sitting up. Everyone looked me at shocked by what i said so was Rin. "Im very sorry did i say something I shouldn't have." Looking at the people who was inside. "Im sorry Asuna but you can't meet them for they are... Dead." Rin said quietly as tears welled in her eyes, my eyes widen, i jump from where i was sitting to Rin giving her a hug and apologising at the same time. "Im sorry Rin, I'm really sorry." I said as my eyes starts to water."it's ok Asuna you didn't know. They died after training me. they were killed when they were at work. They were killed by them." She said her fist clinched.

"Who?" "It's better if you don't know them." She said signing "is it the Kuran."
"How did you know?" She said shocked
"A guess maybe, cause when you first came to the Kuran manor i saw you have a murderous look in your eyes that you hid with a perfect smile." I shrugged my shoulders. "Let's not talk about this ok, it's making me angry and sad knowing that I couldn't kill them when they were right there." She said forcing herself to laugh and smile making it sound so painful. "Please don't force yourself anymore, Rin." I said bearing my face into her tommy and continued to hug tightly.

"Grrrr." "What was that?" Rin asked smiling "that was probably my stomach growling, I'm really hungry My stomach hasn't been empty since then." I said embarrassed scratching the back of my neck. "Ok then. Why don't we have a feast." Said one of the guy in the room. "Oh wait. Everyone line up." She said turning around to the people who was also in the room.

"I forgot to introduce them to you. This here to your right is Kaito next to him in the middle Alice and Ken." She said pointing at each and everyone of them.
"Hi I'm kaito. I'm 6
"I'm alice. I'm 5
"Ken and I'm 7"
They said one by one. "Hello my name is Asuna... Mm." 'I really didn't want to say my name. Sorry I'll rephrase that i hate the name Kuran I don't want it as my last name it disgusts me', i scream in my head. "What is your last name Asuna." Alice asked cutely. "I used to have the last name as the Kurans but.." Looking down then up and forced a smile. "The Kuran." Everyone's eyes glowed red, they all looked at me murderously. I stood up in defence. "Guys it's alright let her explain." I hear Rin say from behind. I couldn't speak as a lump began to grow in my throat and tears stream down my face. "It's ok Asuna-sama you don't have to force yourself. Life as a kuran was not easy for Asuna-sama, she had to kil" i soon cut her off as i tried swallowing down the pain in my throat, "you dont have to." The atmosphere around us was tense.

"Asuna-sama everyone here is the only survivor of the Kuran attacks. Everyone here are noble families but the Kuran-" she was once again cut off. "Enough please no more. We don't want to hear that name anymore." "Ok I'm sorry guys." She smile but inside she's pained. "You dont have to call me sama, Rin."

"I sincerely apologise for all the things my family have done to you." I said bowing to them, they rushed over to me and hugged me. The warm embrace broke all the tension away "it's ok you don't have to apologise for them, you didn't do anything." Alice said softly. "Yeah guys lighten up we have a guests feeling down won't help wont bring back the dead right. We're lucky enough to be still alive,right." She said jumping up and ran to the kitchen screaming Ken's name to help her.

"Since you guys are aristocrat have your powers awaken yet?" Looking at the two with a curious face. "Yes. Mine is blood bend. To put it more easily i can control them. And i can wield an anti-vampire weapon. " Alice said proudly. "Mine is mind reading and i can kill anyone if i want to with just one look." Kaito said kind of scared of his powers. "Well mine is probably the same as yours and many more. I haven't fully explored my powers yet." I said looking at them with a smile.

"Im sorry to ask but you guys didn't say your last name was." "Well.... My full name is Alice Tsukima." "Wait wait what did you say your name was." Looking at her shock 'I've heard that name before'. "Alice Tsukima." "As in the Tsukima the vampire hunter that is a vampire. Woah." I said in amazement. "Yes. But how do you know my family." She said looking at me in confusion." I've read all about the noble families." Jumping up and down cause i have always wanted to meet one of the Tsukima, after jumping up and down like a child which i am, i turn to Kaito. "I'm kaito Toka." He said simply. "What about ke-." "What about me?" He said coming in the room probably here to call us to the dinning hall. "I was wondering what your full name was." "You should have said so. My full name is Ken Kishi." "Oh my melon you guys are all from famous noble families." My eyes sparkled in excitement and in awe as i looked at them with a smile on my face.

"Oh Rin ask me to get you guys, dinner is served." Pointing to the kitchen. "Yayyyy." We all screamed at the same time.

••Rin's pov••

I could hear them scream somehow making a comfortable atmosphere. Asuna seems like she is more happy out off the Kuran manor where she once called it a home but in reality it was prison.

"Hello guys dig in." I said happily
"Oh I forgot to ask ken what is your power?" Asuna said with her mouth full of food. "Don't talk when your mouth is full Asuna." I said continually eating my food. "Sorry." "My powers are i can control time and gravity." Ken said putting a piece of meat in his mouth.

••Time skip••

After one week have past we have been training ourself well Alice, Kaito, Ken and Asuna i have been teaching them the same things i taught Asuna when we were at the Kuran manor. Asuna have also taught us some spells that she have read about. Like how to hide our vampire self, healing and the invisible doom that she used back then.

••Kaname's pov••

"Takuma please past that to me." I said pointing at the test tube. We are currently at school and in a lab. Yuki have started going to school one week later when Asuna went missing or ran away. I have been looking for her but i couldn't find her any where, Rin must have taken her to her house. But where? I continued to question myself.

"Kaname-sama are you ok? You've been spacing out a lot today." Takuma said putting his hand on my shoulder. "Im just thinking about stuff." I sighed. Since Asuna left, i have kept my distance from Yuki she have been trying to talk to me but every time i talk to her i think of Asuna instead. What have I become? I shouldn't be thinking about her, i should be giving my attention to Yuki. But i just can't i don't know why.

••Asuna's pov••

How long has it been since then. Oh well i don't care anymore. I don't even know what they look like. "Asuna let's train." "Ok"
