The Plan

{Emma's POV}

Once Killian and Melody were done telling their story, the room was silent. You could hear a pin drop. I looked at the girl I thought was a cold pirate and saw a shimmer of vulnerability. But as quick as it came, it was gone. A look of stone-cold seriousness settled over her face. 

"Over all these years, Maleficent has not given up," Melody said. "And now, she has finally tracked me to your quaint little town."

"I say we ditch the girl. Give her up. What's one life against the lives of many?" Regina blurted out. 

"Regina!" Mary-Margaret yelled.

As the room erupted in a flurry of arguments about what to do about Maleficent, I closed my eyes and laid back down on the couch. I didn't know how much more of this I could take. I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder and opened my eyes into Killian's blue ones.

"Are you alright, love?" He questioned with a genuine curiosity. 

"I'm fine. My head hurts a little, that's all." I replied. It wasn't a total lie. There was a slight pain in the back of my head, but it wasn't serious. Back in the forest, my wall slipped. He was starting to get to me. I couldn't let it happen again. I couldn't loose him like Neal and Graham. He saw the distance in my eyes and pulled his hand away.

"I have an idea."

Everyone turned and looked at Henry. He had been quietly standing in the corner, watching everything that was transpiring.

"We could lure Maleficent out," He started, "We could have Melody go to her and tell her that she is finally ready to come with her, and we could all be hiding around them. Then we could all jump out and attack her and contain her somehow."

"You know what kid," I said as I stood up, "That might just work."

We did some planning and decided that we would put our plan into action tomorrow night. David, Regina, Killian and I would all be there. We would use the bracelet that takes away your magic on Maleficent and hopefully contain her. I just hoped that our plan would work.

Sorry that the chapter's short. I was in a bit of a rush to write this and I needed a transition chapter into what' coming next!
