{Killian's POV}

After we had fully discussed Henry's plan, I slipped out of the loft unnoticed. I was hoping that after the drama, Emma would still want me, but I was wrong. The coldness in her eyes said it all. This really was a one time thing. I thought it would be for the best to just forget Emma and the small glimmer of hope I had that we could be together. Then all of the sudden, Melody appeared in front of me.

"Geez, Mel! What the bloody hell was that for?" I asked, slightly angry that she just appeared in front of me.

"Well, you slipped out of the apartment and I wanted to catch up to you," she said with a look of innocence. "And anyways, I have a surprise for you. I know you were wondering how I got to Storybrooke. Don't even pretend you weren't. So I'm going to show you. Now, this isn't as amazing as your ship, but it's something I think you will like."

I was wondering what she could possibly be talking about, when she waved her hand and a cloud of smoke swirled around us and took us to the town line.

"Ah, so it seems the old dog has learned new tricks," I said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes and then motioned for me to follow her into the woods. We walked for about five minutes when we finally emerged in a clearing. In the middle was a sleek black thing on two wheels.

(The picture above is what her bike looks like)

"This," Melody said, "is a motorcycle. It's mine. I rode it here to Storybrooke. And it can't stay in the woods forever, so I figured we might as well ride it back to town." She smiled at me, as if she was inviting me onto the metal contraption on wheels.

"You want me to get on that thing?" I asked nervously.

"Don't worry. I know how to ride it. You'll be perfectly safe. Now," she said as she started to get on the motorcycle, "get on the back. You're gonna have to hold on to me because I don't want you falling off."

I reluctantly clambered on to the machine. It seemed so unbalanced, like at any moment, it was going to tip over and we were both going to die.

"Are you ready?" She said to me. I nodded my head and clung to her for dear life.

"Good."

All of the sudden, she kicked out her foot and the engine roared to life. Then we were cruising out of the forest and onto the main highway. At first, I was scared out of my mind. But as we continued riding, I eventually started to get more comfortable and actually started to enjoy it. As we sped faster and faster, a whoop of joy couldn't help but escape my mouth. Soon we were coming into town. For a second, I wondered what Emma would think if she saw me with my arms around Melody, but then I realized that she probably wouldn't care.

She doesn't like me anyways, so I shouldn't care what she thinks, I thought. But I still couldn't help but feel a pang in my heart.

Eventually, we pulled up to Granny's. Everyone who was sitting outside stared at us in shock. Melody put down something she called a kickstand, and we both got off the bike.

"So, what did you think?" Mel asked me.

"That. Was. AWESOME!" I said excitedly. "Where can I get one?"

A smile spread across her face. "Well, I got mine at a place far away from here, but I'll see what I can do. Now, I'm gonna go out again. I'll see you around?"
