Hi everyone, it's been a long time, has it? It's 2026 and I am totally shocked that everything that happened in this fanfic has been left to dust for a very long time. More shocking that it is still booming with likes, views, and comments despite being inactive. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my promise to continue this fanfic as ALWAYS as I wanted to back then. Making new chapters every day? It stopped me from doing so since life has been very busy to me and sometimes, I tend to leave unfinished marks. Before that, I would like to tell you all that I am always fine and alright. I may not be active in this platform, but I am still running up here and there just... Not making or continuing next chapters like I used to back then.
As much as I want to make the chapters, I would like to be clear and honest with you all readers. Firsthand, I would like to tell an explanation about this fanfic and how it all started.
I had a passion to make a reaction fanfic about One Piece before, since I used to watch Gacha Life reactions about it. Lmfao- it is an awkward state of mine back then... So, I tend to start to make a reaction fanfic, and thus the "One Piece Reaction" happened. At first, I wanted to be minimal with the story, but then my imagination expanded and wanted to dive deeper that this is just not a reaction for entertainment- but for a purpose as well inside the story. That's why you tend to see my OCs included in that fanfic. What's shocking I would never expect this fanfic to blow up so high that I instantly got overwhelmed! Thank you for real for the support though!
Oh, and yes, I also noticed questions and other things that are mostly asked in every chapter I published and this is my answer. I will know you all might be disappointed and all, but I hope you all understand:
Q: (Additional characters to be included in the fanfic) I have seen everyone's comments about wanting other characters to include in the reaction fanfic, and I much as I want to include some of them... Well, I will be honest, I can't put them ALL since I tend to forget they are there, sometimes they just prefer to watch and hard to pull their canon personalities as well at times. Additionally, I want to put my favorites
Q: (Recommended reaction stories for them to react?) I much as I wanted to expand the story, I decided to lean and focus more about Luffy. Though I know the title is One Piece React, I might change to "One Piece React to Luffy". For it to be not out of context and a misunderstanding of what they are going to react into. I must apologize from my indecisiveness.
Q: (Will Luffy react with others?) Since in the fanfic timeline for now, he is still in a slumber state. And 'The Creator' is still keeping an eye on him. Meaning he might not tag along with them. Why? If he is present, his psyche might worsen. But hey who knows? I might just put him in there but a twist~
Q: (Will you continue the next chapters?) The next chapters have been in a draft state for so long and I tend to forget to continue due to the busy moments outside of the internet. Sometimes, I am not in a mood to continue my drafted works as well and I hated that kind of my mindset has always been like that.
What a Noticed: (Adding information about some parts in the story) This part, I have seen people questioning and adding other information about the scenes and explanations I made in the published chapters. I would like to thank you for the people who correct my mistakes and adding more information. I lack a lot of information or forget some. I must be honest, I barely hold on to the lore/story of One Piece, and I tend to forget that some of those parts existed. I also skipped arcs because I have already been told of their summary and what happened during those arcs. And it's been a long time since I read the manga or watch the anime itself. I stopped actually after Marineford since it took a toll of me. So, in the end, I just only seen a few scenes and moments about the next arcs after Marineford. I am also shocked that right now they are in Elbaph. I guess I have to try to catch up but sometimes I tend to be lazy about it... Which I am so sorry about this- but I will try if I can.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS AND DECISIONS ABOUT THIS FANFIC?
It's been a long time since I put the last brick of this fanfic. Yes, I have seen y'all are hyped with the next chapters especially Gear 5th and I am too! But unfortunately, the passion has gone dry, not dead, but really gone dry. But as person who can't dismiss or stop things, I can't let this fanfic go and discontinue it. So, in the end, I might still upload the next chapters, but I won't guarantee WHEN will it be uploaded since I am work loaded not only in real life, but also with games and other personal things, from time to time.

For me to conclude my note, I would like to say... I am so sorry, very sorry, for neglecting this fanfic. I know it must be scary that you all are worried when will this fanfic even continue and asking about my own well-being. I really love that you all care about all of this despite of me not being very active in this platform for a very long time. But I do have a favor to ask... My favor is to please do not worry about much of this fanfic since it was just a passion driven from me 2 years ago. I would like for you all to prioritize what life has given to you and maybe, come back here from time to time and read this slow updated fanfic I make.
I will also allow for anyone to continue this unfinished fanfic if you'd like to OR make your own as an inspiration, I would love that. But always remember, crediting a person gives you and other a great benefit.
