My doorbell rang and I opened the door. I looked around but no one was there. But there was a letter at the doorstep. I picked it up and opened it. It read:

After I read the letter I didn't know whether to feel sad that Liam, my ex-boyfriend is getting married or to feel happy about actually hearing from him again. I didn't even realize I still had the door open and my robe was not protecting me. So I closed the door and flopped down on my leathery couch. I thought and I thought.
'What if I could get Liam to fall in love with me?' I thought.
