Chapter 13: Secrets in a Cell

                                                        ~Lexi's P.O.V.~

The police officer put Danielle and me in the same holding cell. Danielle wore a worried look. We didn't have any clothes to cover our bikinis. I was dripping wet and Danielle was just a little damp unlike me. 

Danielle was rambling on about how the press was going to get ahold of this story of her being in jail with me. 

"My career wil be ruined, thaks to you."

Okay, I am so sick of her. She's just so...so...so...ugh!

"You have ruined everything for me ever since you arrived, " she said jabbing her finger in my face

I rolled my eyes. Why should I care?

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take the man you love. But I love him more than you ever will."

"That's true," she admitted. 

Huh? I'm so confused. 

I wasn't  going to question her. There would always be some sort of drama after it. Okay, I wanted to know the truth! 

"What do you mean?" I questioned curiously. 

"I. Don't. Love. Liam." She was talking to me as if I were a stupid child.

"What is wrong with you?" 

"Nothing, I just want the money. I actually don't give a flying fig about Liam. When we get married I get part of his money and I divorce him and I demand 3 quearters of the money. Duh...I'll just move on to a more famous actor or singer. Is Taylor Lautner available?" she asked with a smirk.

I looked at her in disgust. What kind of person would do that? Oh wait, the evil Taylor Swift.

Yeah, she seems like the perfect person to do that.

"You don't deserve Liam at all!'

"Don't I?"

"No you dont!"

"Oh, try to get Liam to believe that."

Maybe I will. Liam needs to know how evil Danielle is. He eeds to know. She is not right for him, she's not I am. I deserve to be happy, not her!

After a few minutes of silence the police officer that arrested us was holding the bars to our cell. 

"Ladies, your bail has been paid," he chirped.

I silently cheered and when he unlocked the cell I started walking the norma pace outside but Danielle pushed past me before I could even get out the door.

"Hey," I called to her. 

She ignored me and she ran up to hug someone. I'm assuming it was Liam. I started out the cell and when I was out the officer closed the cell and locked it tight. 

Liam was hugging Danielle tightly. I really wished that was me. I wanted to be in his arms, to feel his love, to be the one he loves. 

I could never have that now. Not unless Danielle finally agreed that her plan was wrong and forget about tricking Liam. 

"Lex, c'mon let's go," Liam beckoned me.

When we got back to Liam's house I did't make any type of contact with Liam, Danielle, or Jessie. I guess I was a bit upset that Liam was being used by Danielle. 

Ding. 

I had a plan. It would involve the boys and a little bit of big-mouthing. 

I ran into the guest room that I was using and I grabbed ahold of my iPhone. I pulled up the number pad and I typed in Harry's number. 

Wait. 

I couldn't call the boys as myself, they're too angry at me to even answer my calls. 

"Liam!" I shouted very loudly. 

All of a sudden,, Liam came racing into the room with a baseball bat in his hand. 

"What?" he said. 

"I need your phone. Now."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone,"Why do you-"

Before Liam could finish his sentence I snatched his phone and went to his contacts. 

Lexi. Danielle. Wait! Lexi, that's me. I'm his number one contact! Besides the point.

Simon. Dori. Harry. 

Harry! I clicked on his contact and I pressed call.

"Hello?" a deep voice said. 

"It's Liam," I said mocking Liam's voice. 

"What's up mate?"

"Meet me at Red Yellow Park."

"Okay."

"Tell the boys too," I stated. 

"'Kay."

I hung up the phone and I looked up to see a baffled Liam. 

"What?" I asked.

"Can I have my phone back?" 

"Oh, yeah, right here," I sadi handing him his phone.

I walked across the street to Red Yellow Park. When I reached the park I saw the boys standing near a tree talking to each other. 

When I walked up to them they looked at me. 

"What are you doing here?" 

"Where's Liam?" 

I placed a hand on my hip. 

"He's not here, I called you Harry," I said,"Danielle is only using Liam to get money."

"I figured that," said Niall.

"We need to work together to stop her from hurting Liam."

"Why would I want to work with someone who doesn't like me?" Niall asked his eys met Louis' body.

"Do it for Liam! Liam likes you! He loves you! Please, we could both get something out of this, Liam fals in love with me. You guys continue with you career!"

They exchanged a few glances with each other before deciding. 

"Deal," the agreed in unison. 

"Deal," I mocked. 

It sure was a great deal.
