Chapter 4: Why Are You Here

                                                 ~Lexi's P.O.V.~

I stared at him. 

"Never thought I'd see you again," I said.

"Do you wanna come in or something?" Liam asked us. 

"Sure."

 I walked in and Jessie followed. Liam shut the door behind us. 

"What are you doing here? I didn't expect you to be here for another week."

"Well, Liam. I just wanted to become friends with you. Again," I lied through my pearly white teeth.

"Lexi, I am not going to fall in love with you again. If you came here to start trouble then leave because I am getting married."

As soon as he said that, his fiance came into the room without noticing us. 

"Liam, what about this dress?" she asked him.

Then she saw me. 

"Who is this?" she questioned as she looked me up and down.

"I am Lexi. I am sure you heard all about me," I told her before Liam could say anything.

"Yes, I am Danielle," "excuse me I need to talk with Liam."

                                                             ~Liam's P.O.V~

Danielle grabbed my hand dragged me to the back room.

"What?" I asked completely stunned by her outburst.

"I didn't realize how pretty she was. It was my fault inviting your ex anyway," said Danielle pacing back and forth.

"Danielle, you are the only woman for me. I love you."

"Aww, Liam, I love you too."

I leaned in to give her a quick peck on the cheek and a hug.

"I promise there will be no funny business," I said to her and we both smiled.
