A/N Chapter Notes:

Jessie comes in this chapter. Thank you to those who helped me come up with this story. I'd like to thank @BritishBums and @PrincessElf for helping me.

~Lexi's P.O.V.~

I woke up the next morning as great as ever. I heard the door open and I almost jumped out of my underwear. I turned around and my best friend, Jessie staring at me like an alien.

"How'd you get in?" I questioned.

"Idiot, you gave me a key," Jessie told me.

"Guess who got invited to Liam's wedding."

"Who?"

"Me, idiot," I muttered.

"Well, are you going? I don't think you should go. I mean, won't it hurt you that your ex is getting married to a woman that is not you?" Jessie asked.

"Jess, I am going I can handle a little competition."

"Competition? So you're implying that you want him back."

"Of...course."

Jessie then sat down on the couch and crossed her legs. She picked up a fashion magazine hidden under the couch.

"I hid a dating mag inside your fashion mag," Jessie told me.

She flipped to a specific page.

"The steps to getting a guy to fall in love with you are: 1) Act coy 2)Play hard to get 3) Attract him," she read.

"Sounds like the same thing," I said.

"Just follow the steps and you will definitely get Liam to fall in love with you again."

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Positive. Go get packing!"

I jumped up from where I was sitting and ran into my room. I grabbed my large suitcase and began throwing random things into the suitcase. I zipped it up and got out my computer. I went to www.AirLines.com. Two tickets to Los Angeles, California.

~Jessie's P.O.V.~

I left Lexi's house and I went to my house house. My house was just a block away from Lexi's so we could easily walk to see each other. But sometimes we drive, but only if we're to lazy to walk, which is almost always. I opened up my door and my brother Devon greeted me with a warm hug. Devon always gives the warmest hugs. That's why I love him so much.

"Lexi called a minute ago," he informed me.

"Oh, yeah, I'm gonna go call her back-" but I was rudely cut off by Devon.

"No, she said that you needed to be ready, like now!"

"For what?" I queried not understanding the situation.

He gave me a hard stare before hesitating like he thought I was already supposed to know.

"For the trip to Los Angeles," he said it like it was obvious.

She didn't tell me she was dragging me along. I am so shocked, yet so excited that I get to go to Los Angeles, California. Devon went into my room and then he came out with a zebra-striped suitcase. I smiled at him before squishing the teenage boy. I squeezed him and I could feel his body becoming weak under mine. The next thing I know I'm out the door and headed for the airport with Devon.

I run with my luggage in my hand and Devon hot on my tail. I saw Lexi waving for us to hurry up. I was running as fast as I could and I was already out of breath. I pushed my legs farther but they were about to quit on me. I couldn't quit now! Not now! I needed to keep going.

"We're almost there!" I yelled to Devon.

He seemed like he was having trouble breathing too. I finally let my feet hit the paved concrete at the entrance of the airport. There Lexi was. I turned around and gave Devon a tight hug before turning back to Lexi.

"Come on! We don't want to miss our flight," Lexi said.

After all of the things you do when you are getting on a plane we finally got onto our plane.

"What if Liam doesn't fall in love with me?" Lexi asked.

"Lex, he will. You're amazing," I murmured.

"That is why you're my bff."

Then we started through the doors of the gigantic building.
