As we walked home from the hospital, I was still clinging on to a handful of confusion but I just concluded a general answer around God and left it at that.
I was out and that's all that mattered.
Although I understood people die for a reason, I kinda wanted to change that but knowing the fact that I couldn't, made we want to change it even more.
Things like this never happen and I'm not sure if it was a miracle or disaster but I knew that either way, me and Sean would be closer.
We didn't talk much for the walk although. We wanted to, but we were both so caught up in the past.
Maybe we could just push through one last day without anything bad and then we'll both be okay.
I wished.
But I should have already knew that I'm Kade Moore, the good boy, and nothing good ever happened to good boys like me.
