Logan's P.O.V.

Natalie follows, whatever is name is, around like a lost puppy. As soon as he showed up at the door, reminding her that they were going to walk the board walk, she jumped into his car at an instant, leaving me alone.

I was getting way to close to her.

She was much different than her sister, and I like that.

She is loud, confident, funny, smart, cute, and fun.

Amber on the other hand is proper, self-conscious, not very bright, and boring.

I didn't even want to date Amber, I would much rather date her sister. But doing that would ruin the plan.

No one knows about the plan, all except my friend, Kasey, and it has to stay that way.

If it gets out to anyone, it would ruin everything.

I can't lose the main goal, the main reason why I am even doing this in the first place.

And to do that I have to stop getting closer to Natalie.

She brings out the good in me, making me feel like a kid again.

Great now I sound like a chick flick.

Girl meets boy. Girl likes boy, boy likes girl, boy gets the girl, breaks her heart, but she finds a way to forgive him, and they live happily ever after.

Well let me tell you something.

There are no happily ever after's.

It takes a lot to get the girl.

It takes a lot to get the girl to forgive the boy.

And I know for a fact, even though Amber annoys the crap out of Natalie, she would kill me when she finds out the real reason I'm dating her.

I shook my head, realizing that I was still standing by the front door. As I went to walk away, the door flew open, revealing Amber.

"Hey babe." She said snacking her gum.

I sent her a fake smile, and hugged her.

"We should go to the boardwalk." Amber said more to herself.

She scurried up stairs, rushing to her room where I know she will spend more than an hour getting the freaking clothes on in her closet.

I ran a hand through my hair, before I went into the kitchen, pouring myself a cup of diet Pepsi.

I sat down at the kitchen counter, leaning my head on the granite counter top. The tile was cool, making my skin sigh.

I thought more about Natalie, and how she was out with that prick.

I snapped my head up at the sound of Amber's voice.

"Are you ready babe?" She asked, walking to the fridge, pulling out a bottled water.

I nodded, and got up of my seat, following Amber out the door.

She drove, making me sit in the passenger seat.

She rambled on about tomorrow we have to get to the beach, because she needs to tan, but after that I tuned her out.

I rested my forehead on the glass window, watching the little town in New Jersey, speed past in front of my eyes.

We pulled up at the boardwalk, and Amber rushed out, pulling me along.

We ran through the small crowds of people, dodging people left and right.
