I woke up to my phone buzzing next to my pillow. It was raining outside, all gray, cold and wet. The sound of rain on my window felt good. I turned around, expecting a huge mass of hair next to me. He was gone. Oh well. I grabbed my phone, realizing it was already 12. I must've been as tired as Davi. My friends were having a group chat, which woke my up. I decided to ignore them, slightly feeling mad at them for waking me up. I also got a text from an unknown number, which turned out to be David. ''(P) I got your number! Thanks!'' I quickly saved him as a contact, got up, and snug Duck's hoodie on. On my kitchen counter was a brown bag, a pink carnation (flower) and a small note.

''(P) Thank you for yesterday, you're the best, Flor. I had to leave, I had training, I'm sorry. I got you breakfast from this café I really like. My mom loves flowers, and she said pink carnation mean Thank you. Ciao!

Ps: your bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in''

Why aren't there friends like Davi in Canada? I opened the bag up, finding 2 chocolate croissants, a yogourt, a bowl of cut up fruit and a bottled cold capuccino, Perfect! I texted him a quick thank you followed by a kissy face, and ate everything up.

-6 weeks later- april 8-

David is sitting on the floor of my kitchen, waiting for me to get cookies baked. He's playing on his phone while humming some song. We hung out almost every day for the past weeks, doing nothing much, from his place to mine. We even rode sleds down the building's stairs, which caused him a day off training for the ankle he bruised. I've had alot of work to do these days, as we were hiring new people at the company. Spending time with David is not only fun, but we get relaxation out of it. He's a very stressed out man, from what I've seen. I haven't seen the boys at all since the last party. I haven't seen Zlatan in 6 weeks, since the last game I attended. David told me about them, their stories, their families. I've learned to know him alot. I know him more than I know my friends back home, which is weird to say. Speaking of Zlatan, he's hosting a party tonight, and his wife will be there. Sara'll be there too, actually. I didn't see her, or speak to her at all. Her and Davi are good, now. He loves her so much. When he talks about her, he lights up completely. She's everything to him, it's beautiful. I put the cookies in the oven, set a timer, and layed down on the floor, resting my head on Davi's lap.

"(P) Zlatan just asked about you'' he said, refering to his phone

''(P) What did he say?"

''(P) He asked me if you were coming tonight, I said you are''

''(P) I'm gonna dress all hot, just to see his reaction. I'll make his wife jealous, you'll see''

''(P) She's got him on a leash, it's almost sad to see. She's mean and evil. Almost scary. I don't know how he does it!'' He said, chuckling a little ''(P)I actually hope he leaves her eventually''

''(P) Poor guy''

I got up as the timer rang and got the cookies out

''(P) Finally! Gosh, it took you so long, Flor!'' He shot straight up, following each movement I made with that tray of chocolate chip cookies in my hand.

''(P) close your eyes, you'll see how good my cookies are much more easily'' I told him, as he surprisingly listened to me and bent down so I could reach him better. Instead of feedinghim a cookie, I grabbed an egg and smashed it on his head. I imediatly started running, knowing his revenge reflexes pretty well.

''(P) Cabrao! (fucker!) He yelled at me, going after me. I locked myself in the bathroom, laughing my ass off. ''(P) Open up! I'm gonna knock the door off if you don't!'' I laughed, know he would never risk to hurt me. After hearing me laugh, he started laughing too. That's when i decided to open the door. We stood there laughing for a while.
