"Bye Derek," she said as she slithered out the door. "Later, baby," Derek said with a smile. He didn't remember her name, so he settled on baby. She closed the door and he lay back in his bed. Derek had been seeing a lot of girls recently. Date after date, sleepover after sleepover, Derek had been searching for the perfect girl. He reached down and pulled the covers over his body and lifted his hands to his head, rubbing his eyes. He turned his head to look at his bed stand where the clock read 5:32. Derek was exhausted, and he closed his eyes to attempt to get some sleep before heading in to the BAU at 8:00. He began to drift off, dreaming of the perfect girl. The girl who understood him completely. Who could look at him and know what he was thinking and who would love him unconditionally- his phone buzzed. The screen lit up- Baby Girl. "Well, speak of the devil," Morgan said sleepily. "What? Never mind, I don't even, um, Hotch said, he needs, you, uh-" Garcia rambled on. "What's wrong Penelope?" Morgan said. "Nothing. Just-um-nothing. Hotch says everyone needs to come in. Bye." Garcia said abruptly. Confused, Morgan looked at the phone. 6:28. He chuckled and shook his head as he got up to got to work. He never got a break.
