I will go over the basic ones. There are some where you add two vowels, but I will get into that after the next leason (Double consonants). Vowels don't have a name like the consonants do. You can't start a sentence with a vowel, so you put the consonant ㅇ infront of it (we learned ㅇ in the last lesson; remember that in the beginning it makes no sound and at the end it makes an "ng" sound).
For the sound, the english letters outside of rhe perentheses is the romanization (how you pronounce the words using english letters). The english letters in the perentheses is how I pronounce it (it's easier for me).letter sound
ㅏ a (ah)
ㅑ ya (yah)
ㅓ eo (uh)
ㅕ yeo (yuh)
(Kind of like an o sound)ㅗ o (oh)
ㅛ yo (yoh)
(Note that there is a difference between the ㅓ and ㅗ. For the ㅓ, you have to say it with your mouth unrounded. For the ㅗ, you have to say it with your mouth rounded).
ㅜ u (oo)
(As in oo, those are some nice shoes!)ㅠ yu (you)
ㅡ eu (euh)
(As in euh, that's gross) (it kind of sounds forced. Make sure your bottom lip is flat. I suggest to actually listen to the pronounciation).ㅣ i (ee)
