"Do you wanna know if Nijimura-kun likes you?" Izumi asked Akashi. They were having their tea at the terrace. The two were supposed to discuss some future plans of sorts, but Izumi being Izumi, she just asked Akashi a very unrelated question to their subject.

"No,"

"Oh come on! I'm sure you do!"

"I don't,"

"Are you sure?"

"Hundred percent sure," she sipped her tea.

"I'll tell you anyway, try to ignore him." Izumi whispered to her cup.

"Pardon?"

"See! You are interested!" she exclaimed.

"Please don't jump to conclusions. I just didn't properly hear what you said," Akashi replied.

Izumi sighed, but a smile was quickly formed on her lips, "Try to ignore him! Or you could pretend you're mad. If he's bothered then he surely likes you!"

"Isn't it normal to be bothered when someone's mad at you?" Akashi countered.

"At least you'll know you're important to him. And what I really mean is bothered, like super-duper-mega bothered! Or I-won't-be-able-to-sleep-at-night-if-we-don't-settle-this-now bothered!" she explained. "But you know what the good part is?"

Silence.

"At least ask what," Izumi said flatly.

"What?" Akashi complied.

"When you're a girl, you can stay mad at a guy for no apparent reason and he would still think it's his fault!"

"I still don't believe that method," not that I'm curious.

Izumi laughed softly,"When you see it, you'll surely know it,"

Akashi doesn't have the knack to eavesdrop at other people's conversation. She just happened to overhear a conversation on the other side of the lockers when she was changing her shoes. It wasn't intentional, not at all.

"You're just hurting yourself!" Kurokami -judging by the voice- almost shouted at the guy.

"What are you even saying Kyouko? You don't know what you're talking about," the guy replied.

"I'm telling you that girl doesn't see you that way!" Kurokami shoot back. "She already has her eyes on Ni--"

"Shut up Kyouko! You're ruining my morning," Akashi then heard a loud clang which she could only imagine as a forceful closing of a locker. After changing her shoes, Akashi went to her classroom, but when she had walked passed the lockers she looked at her side and shared a look with Kurokami.

"Good morning, Kurokami-senpai," she greeted the black-haired girl.

"After what happened the other day you just greet me normally? You're quite cruel aren't you?" Kurokami said frowning at the redhead.

"I fail to see what is cruel with greeting my senior, Kurokami-senpai," Akashi answered, "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to my classroom,"

Akashi left Kurokami without waiting for her reply. The black-haired girl looked at the redhead's back with contempt thinking just how much she loathes that redhead.

When Akashi got to her seat, again, she overheard another conversation. Again, it wasn't intentional. It was Mio and company this time.

"--entered sooner if things didn't go well for you, I swear, he said that!" Mio excitedly told the two. The three girls squealed, even Haruka who's always calm and composed squealed (just more discreet than the other two). Akashi knew that line. She could already bet on her life that Mio was telling the two about the incident the other day.
