First Day Of Vidcon! (7)

Once we landed in LA we got a taxi to to the hotel. The hotel was huge, I got the key and went to my room, which was on the same row as Joe, Zoe, Alfie and Caspar. Joe was in the room to my left and Zalfie were in the room to my right. As I entered my room the first thing i noticed a huge king size bed with a massive tv. This was nothing like hotels I've ever stayed in.

Once I explored my room a bit more I began to unpack. I hung all my clothes up in the cupboard so they wouldn't crease. This was my first year at vidcon and I was very nervous. I didn't have any meet-ups till tomorrow, so I wanted to spend the rest of the day being relaxed by the pool with my friends. As I hung the last items of clothing up there was a knock at my door. I looked through the peep hole (you know the thing in hotel doors, yeah them) and saw that it was Zoe, I opened the door and let her in.

"Hey Eva! Do you want to go swimming?" Zoe asked.

"Sure," I said in response "just let me get changed."

"okay, I'll be in by the pool!" and with that Zoe left my room so I could get changed.

I put on my bikini then put on some denim shorts and my red flannel, grabbed my towel and left.

Joes PoV:

I was at the pool with Zoe, Caspar, Jim and Tanya just waiting for Eva. When she finally arrived she sat on the chair next to me and smiled. I don't know why but it felt a bit awkward at first, so I decided to break the tension.

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm good, just a bit sleepy after the flight, and you?"

"Yeah, I'm good, are you coming to swim?"

"No, I'm going to sit on the edge and watch."

"Okay!" and with that I left and headed to the diving board. I thought I might encourage Eva to come in, therefore I dived head first into the water, watching Eva as I did. Once I was back above water Eva started to laugh. I laughed back and swam towards her feet, I grabbed hold of them and pulled her in the water with me.

hey guys, so I haven't posted a part of the book for over a month, which I am so sorry about. I've got some exams coming up so I need to focus on revising. I made this more of a filler chapter because you all have been waiting a long time for me to update.
