Benny's POV
As soon as I locked my phone, the van slowed and pulled against the curb.
The entrance was tucked behind a wall of ivy with nothing advertising the place except a small brass plaque beside the door.
The Fig House.
No photographers waiting outside. No crowd pressed against barricades. Just warm light spilling onto the wet pavement, a velvet rope, and a doorman in a tailored suit checking names on a tablet.
Jenny looked up from her phone as we climbed out.
"Behave," she said, pointing between Fallon and me. "Both of ya. I mean it."
I adjusted my jacket. "When have we ever embarrassed you?"
Fallon snorted. "Jen, do ya want that list alphabetically or by country?"
"Keep talkin', Fallon."
Fallon grinned and followed Amelia toward the entrance while Damon and Bowie walked behind them.
I started after the band, but Jenny caught my arm before I made it more than a step. Her grip wasn't hard, just firm enough to keep me beside the van.
She waited until everyone had moved ahead before lowering her voice.
"Benny, if anything happens tonight, ya tell me."
I looked at her. "What do ya think is gonna happen?"
"I'm not predicting anything. I'm telling ya not to handle it alone if it does."
She nodded toward Sky, who was already near the entrance.
"You don't hide it, and you don't try to get ahead of the story. Sky and I handle it like we always have."
"Jen..."
"I know you're not a cheater." Her voice stayed calm, but the manager in her had fully clocked in. "I also know none of this is private anymore."
Jenny glanced toward the entrance before looking back at me.
"Somebody gets one picture of you looking at Ariana too long, and by morning, they've built an entire relationship around it."
