"Oh my God that game was incredible!" I looked over at Mel, excitement on my face as we continued to stay at our seats until most of the crowds cleared out, "Wasn't it?"

"Yes." Mel laughed, I only imagined she was feeling like she was suddenly in the presence of an awe struck child, "It was definitely entertaining."

"Rob was incredible today." I felt so proud that I got to witness this game and it was so unlike me to have any excitement over anything that had to do with the Patriots, "He was just so amazing."

"Seriously Ava, who are you?" She looked at me with a smirk on her face, "I promise I am never going to allow you to live this down."

"Stop." I laughed as I swatted at her, "It's not the Patriots success I'm happy about... it's Rob's. Strictly Rob's."

"That's actually very sweet." Mel smiled, "And very girlfriend like of you."

"Well, I can assure you... I'm not a girlfriend by any means." I scooted out of our aisle now that the stadium had pretty much all cleared out, Mel following behind me.

"Yet." She corrected, "You're not a girlfriend yet, but you will be!"

"Well, I don't know about all that..." I dismissed her claims, "But let's go find Rob."

Mel followed behind me up the stairs and into the the concessions. I looked down one hall then the other trying to decide on the best possible route to take. I was supposed to meet Rob by the exit closest to the locker rooms, but finding it seemed to be quite the challenge. I was used to the Ralph, trying to navigate around Gillette was foreign to me.

It seemed like forever before we finally made it to the exit Rob spoke of, or at least I hope it's the right one. Judging by the fans waiting nearby, I was inclined to believe it was.

"Did you want me to wait with you until he comes?" Mel asked, waiting for the okay from me to leave.

"If you don't mind." I looked at her, hopeful that she wouldn't mind sticking around a little bit, "I really don't know my way around here and I'd rather not be alone."

"No problem." She assured me, "Wouldn't mind gettin me a little peak of Amendola. Maybe an intro if I'm lucky."

"Of course." I laughed, how could I possibly forget how Patriots crazed my girlfriends are. I should've known I wouldn't have to pull her leg to get her to stay.

"There she is!" A man's voice echoed down the tunnel and I turned to see Rob walking towards us, his goofy smirk ever so present on his face.

"Hey." I was sure the smile that spread across my face couldn't get any bigger as he wrapped his arms around my much smaller frame, "You were amazing!"

"Thanks babe." He placed a kiss on my cheek and I swear he could hear my heart pounding in my chest, "I'm glad you made it out."

"I'm still in shock that you got her to a Patriots game." Mel chimed in, "I have never in all the years of knowing her ever seen her watch a game, let alone go to a game."

"Oh yeah?" Rob laughed as he looked from Mel to me, "I think they call it Gronk fever."

"Shut up." I laughed, playfully smacking him. I loved the flirtatious side of him and I was anxious to see more of it.

"What's this?" He stepped back and eyed me up and down, shocked by my choice of attire I'm sure, "That jersey looks good on you."

"Told ya." Mel nudged me with her elbow, I had to give her credit. I would've never opted to purchase a Gronkowski jersey for today.
