"Billy, why do you all need to hide?" Ivory asked when two cops were spotted on the street that day.
"Because we have to." Billy said not taking his eyes away from the window.
"Is someone trying to hurt you all?" Ivory asked.
"Yes." Billy pointed to the streets. "Do you see anyone wearing masks, walking dolls, or scared?"
Ivory looked outside. "No."
"Exactly, and because we're different we stand out and when we stand out people get mean." Billy explained.
"Mean? Like call you bad names?" Ivory asked.
"Yeah, something like that, but they also might want to hurt us."
Ivory gasped at that. "Hurt? But you're all so nice! You all help me."
"People don't let us show that side of use like you have." Billy got down to her level. "People only see freaks."
Ivory got tears in her eyes. "That's awful."
"Damn it Billy, what the fuck did you do?" Chucky walked in. "Is she hurt?"
"No, I was just explaining to her why people can't know we're here." Billy assured him.
"Oh, is that all?" Chucky chuckled.
"Yes, that's all." Billy rolled his eyes.
"Chucky, do people really hurt you? Is that why you and Tiffany were out in storm?" Ivory asked.
"Yeah kid." Chuckle smirked. "I thought being a doll meant I wouldn't ever get hurt, but guess what I did. I got hurt a lot. I once got hurt so bad Tiffany had to sew me back together."
Ivory pulled Chucky into a hug and sniffled. "I won't let anyone hurt you again."
"Kid, that's our promise to you, not the other way around." Chucky told her. "Go to Hannibal now, it's time for your talk."
Ivory was still in tears til Hannibal walked in. "Now why the tears?"
Billy explained again and Hannibal nodded in understanding before taking her to their session.
"This should be good." Chucky smirked. "Any news on the cops?"
"No." Billy said. "Mike and Jason are still on the downlow, if they come near here they'll have to get through them first."
"Good, last thing we need is the kid seeing a bloodbath." Chucky nodded.
Ivory sat down and asked Hannibal a question. "Were you hurt to?"
So the whole session Hannibal twisted each story to make them seem like the good guys.
