Percy had woken up in a place he did not recognise, at first, or at all, but he luckily was with Annabeth. They had ended up at C.C.'s Spa and Resort. They obviously hadn't realised their crew had been alive as they were told they could have been the only survives, as they were the only ones found.
Not Alice, Not Agatha, Not Tyson, Not Clarisse...Them.
This was a whole deception and slower record of their quest to get the fleece and save Grover.
Clarisse woke up on the island where Polyphemus lived and ended up in the cave with Grover. A whole situation. A whole, other grievance, to deal with. She thought Percy was dead, a way, she had to think about as she was there, and they weren't, and that was because of the empathy link between Grover and Percy.
Percy at the age, he is, the prophecy, been semi told, and the fact if it was about Annabeth, he said to Annabeth, that he'd burn it all down when it came to her.
Are we suprised? No, but that was bold statement, and as we know, the slow burn was only slow because he is quite determined.
Where's Alice? On the island, where Polyphemus was, she was not awake yet, she was out, Agatha had been on one side, also out, meanwhile at Camp, everyone was preparing and being worried, but not as worried as Xavier and Tallulah, that was a different little thing, but Xay has a lot of anxiety for a Hermes child. This was a beginning and end, camp, lives, and a war. Did it really have an ending yet? No, this was only a start of it, and a meaningful answer but violence is never the best course but they're demigods.
Annabeth and Percy had gotten to work, and gotten to leave, now needed to face the sirens and get past, we all know how that affects them, especially Percy as watching Annabeth hear them, was genuinely his worst fear anyway, because her being hurt and in danger and he can't get there. That is his love.
They'd eventually be fine, but still that had been there and it happened, Annabeth wanted her mum to notice her, Percy only saw Annabeth... as i said. That already his worst fear.
They made it to the island. They needed to go to in the first place, closer to completing.
