Scene 3: The Nightmare
(MATT is sitting on the edge of the bed SOPHIA is sleeping in. SOPHIA is tossing, turning, and saying things in a scared voice. Then, SOPHIA wakes up, sits up, and rubs her eyes. MATT puts his hand on SOPHIA's arm. SOPHIA looks at MATT'S hand, and her eyes follow up his arm until her eyes meet his eyes.)
MATT: Did you have a nightmare?
SOPHIA: Yeah.
MATT: What did you think about?
SOPHIA: Last night.
MATT: It's over, Sophia. It's all over.
(MATT grabs SOPHIA'S hand, and MATT rubs his thumb against her hand. SOPHIA smiles and stands up. Then, MATT stands up.)
MATT: Want some breakfast?
(SOPHIA nods her head yes, and MATT leads SOPHIA outside.)
