Chapter Twenty

The next day, Vaporoen and I finally at last made our contract together and to be honest. Vaporeon is really down since she has to put down one of her creation of the sea protector.

"So the only way I can summon you is to be around water?" I said as I go over of the news Vaporoeon said an important new.

"Yes, it's just the way I have to be summon and I hope you don't see this really complicated and you could try to summon me once on land if you want to. I would go over to your side and protect you." Vaporoeon said quickly as she made me upset.

"No, no." I said as I can feel Vaporoeon worried. "I can found a way to summon you, so don't worry." I said gleefully as I look down to the floor. "Vaporoeon, is it my fault that... Laxus is still in the infirmary room because of me?"

"No, it's my fault." Vaporoeon said as she pats my back. "I could never saw my creation to do something like this I'm sorry." Vaporoeon adds looking down.

"Hey now. Don't beat yourself up." I said softly to her as I pat her back. "We should get ready to get Umbreon and Jolteon now since Espeon said they're on a island far away." I said as she nods.

"Yeah, your right." Vaporoeon replies as she smiles. "See you soon."

I smiled as I raise her key in the air. "See you later." I said as I swipe her key across the air. When she disappears I place her key back with the other as I look down. "No, it wasn't your fault Vaporoeon. It was my fault." I whisper as I walk back into the living room seeing the eggs haven't moved around since I returned home. But Mirajane always told me that they would softly shake once and a while. But stopped. I guess they're ready to be hatch. Gently and softly sitting next to them. "Hey, I'm sorry that you haven't heard my voice, but I'm a celestial wizard and I've been out on jobs and trying to collect the keys of the nine sister." I said as I smiled and placing my hands on the light green egg and the light purple egg. "I just want you two to know that I love you guys and I'm sorry to tell you that I have to leave again to an island to get the last two keys. So please don't hatch yet until I returned." When I finished I felt both of them shake under my hands. They're ready to be hatched. I walk back into the guild as I walk in my hands with the eggs. When I enter in the door, everyone eyes are on me as I walk in, they always look at me as I've been okay. To be honest it's the guilt rising in my body as Laxus is still laying on the bed still from yesterday.

"Hey Ocean?" Natsu walks up to me as Happy flies next to me on my shoulder. "Have you been feeling okay?"

"Yeah, you look even worse than before." Happy said as I sweats went down my face.

"Thanks Happy." I barked as I walk pass them as Happy flies off of my shoulder.

"Way to go Happy." Natsu barked softly as it's between them as I walk away from them and hearing their arguement.

"Hey Erza, Lucy, Wendy, and Carla." I said speaking up to them for the first time forever and the one who actually said hi.

"Hey Ocean," Erza starts as she looks at my face expression. "What's wrong? I never seen you so down before in my life." Ezra said as I look at her as I smile slightly.

"Just.... I realize why I'm always alone." I said placing the eggs on the table. "I didn't want to see anyone hurt..." I said looking down as I sigh. "But it happens. Erza, Lucy... if I die one day... can you guys watch over the exceed eggs for me?" I asked as both Erza and Lucy got to their feet up and stared at me in shock of what I asked them to do.

"Ocean, what are you talking about?" Lucy asked.

"That's insane talking you using Ocean, what are you planning on doing?" Erza adds.

"It's just a question." I stated. "Just curious of what you will react and say."

"Of course we would watch them, but your not planning to kill yourself aren't you?" Lucy asked.

"Don't die!" Erza said. "Please just live on." When Erza finished her sentence. I look at Mirajane behind the bar.

"Hey Mirajane, can you watch them today?" I asked as Mirajane looks at me concerned as she heard the conservation.

"I don't know if I can watch them today. Mirajane said as I nod.

"I understand, I'll get someone else to watch them." I said about to leave.

"Wait." Mirajane voice stopped me as I look at her. "I guess one day of watching them again won't be hurt as much." Mirajane gets the eggs out of my hand. "Good luck on your job request." Mirajane adds as I nod and leave the guild and headed to the dock.

Checking every step as I head to the dock of the boat I recently bought. Espeon took control of the ship as we sailed. We sailed early in the morning and the winds are perfect today since the boat sails are sailing fast. I wonder of how everyone doing right now as I sailed to Midlight Island. A island that in the dark side of the ocean, says the wicked of all magical powers are deeply buried and forgotten like Umbreon and Jolteon.

"Hey Espeon." I speak up getting Espeon attention as she looks at me. "Why did Umbreon and Jolteon went to Midlight island than going back Fiore and living like a normal human wizard?" I asked as Espeon thinks for a moment.

"Punishment." Espeon states as my eyes widen of what she said. "Jolteon and Umbreon always felt like their celestial wizards haunts them, they decided to just leave and wait until all of their magic powers are gone and just died after their life is over. They tried to erase their existence. But failed." Espeon smiles as she looks at the sky. "This is the day. I can feel it."

Espeon words keep swerving in my mind as she made me think about something. What does she means, tried to erase their existence? Does that mean, Espeon and the sister found a way to remember them by revising about them? The wind blowing in my hair as my mind couldn't stop being restless about everything about the nine sister, Laxus, Team Natsu, and everyone at the guild. I hope their okay. I mean, I took the advantage of their kindness and treated everyone mean because of my selfish needs of being alone. I felt if I could be more open and just join a team, then it would be different. If I would live my life again, that's the first thing I would change.

Rising up shore, we made it to Midlight island, the tropical island, but the deeper you go the deeper it get's darker. Mosquitoes biting my entire body to the core as I scratch my the bites and the bug bite since I was wearing a camouflage spaghetti strap top, khakis shorts, and hiking boots, my hair in a messy pony tail to let air cool my body from the back. The sky was blue as ice like my mother, sister, and Gray ice magic as every. It gave me hope that I feel a changed as we approach the cave. I feel sweat drizzling all over, making my skin sticky under the cloth of my clothes, itching from the bites, and dehydrated from the sun beating down on me. My shirt soak under my bra and my stomach as sweat stains can be spotted, cooling me down from the sun rays. This is it, I can do this, I can bring the last two of the nine sister, Jolteon and Umbreon. The cave is huge, the mouth of the cave is gigantic all I can see is rocky and dark that I can see. Dragonal appears in front of me as he stops from my tracks to the cave.

"Ocean......... you know it's time." Dragonal said leaning toward me. "Should we get the other guild members?" I feel guilt running down my body.

"No. Erza team did enough to assist me and it's my fault that Laxus got hurt." I said as I look down in shame. "They did enough and I don't want to drag them into this one. It's my fight." Dragonal nods aa he understands. He was about to speak when he disappeared and was sent back to the Celestial World. Dragonal was switch and Espeon. One of the nine sisters and the smartest one switched Dragonal.

"Ocean, you sure about this? Jolteon and Umbreon are the toughest and strongest sister between the nine sister. It's not an easy battle to win. It's life and death here. Are you sure about this?" Espeon asked as my hands turned into a fist and turning white. Espeon right. I know that it won't be a easy battle to win, but that doesn't mean I'll give up, right? No I'm a member of Fairytaill and we do not give up! I mean it!

"Yes, I'm sure of it." I replied as I look directly into Espeon eyes. "I may die today, but that doesn't mean I'll give up. Never. I will make a way Jolteon and Umbreon listen somehow and make the nine sister come together and be one big happy family and I'll promise you that in my grave." I said as I see Espeon face smile at my answer and my eyes see Espeon crying as she disappeared into the Celestial World.
