Nico's Return

Will and Reyna

"Will." I say.

"Hey, Nico." He says awkwardly grinning.

"What... What are you doing here?"

"I- uh- wanted to say hi. I haven't seen you in 6 years, Neeks."

My face hardens as I start to remember the last time I saw him. As I start to remember how mad I am at him.

"Don't" I say venomously.

"Don't what?"

"Don't call me Neeks. You don't deserve to call me Neeks."

"Nee- Nico, that was 6 YEARS ago. And it was an accident. And I redid your cabin for you." He argues.

"You think six years and a redone cabin will make up for your little "accident". And it wasn't a fuc- ducking accident. You knew what you were doing. You cheated on me Will. That isn't something I take lightly." I say in an eerily calm voice.

"Gods, Nico. I made a mistake. It happens. And you deserved it for leaving me for 2 weeks." Will says, clearly annoyed, "can't we just, like, forget about what happened and get back together."

"I DESERVED you cheating on me. WHAT THE FUCK WILL. We are NOT getting back together." I scream.

"Nico, get over it. We're meant to be. Admit it." Will says cheekily, as he starts to try to kiss me.

I push Will away. "No Will, we're not meant to be together. Just leave me alone!" I scream as I slam the door in his face.

Tears are threatening to spill as I put back to the door and slide down it. I put my head in my arms as I start to cry.

Great. A 22 year old crying over a boy from 6 years ago.

Will is banging on the door calling my name.

"LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE" I shout.

I don't care about language anymore. Why is it always me? What the fuck did I do.

After an hour or so I stand up. I have 2 options here, lay in the floor and cry myself to sleep or distract myself. I go with the latter.

"Reyna." I mutter.

~Time lapse because I'm lazy af.~

I shadow travel into Reyna's office. She's got her feet up on the desk and her hair down. She's aggressively lip syncing to fall out boy even though it's 4 am (A/N YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE).

I stifle a laugh. As I step out of the shadows she shrieks.
I burst out laughing.

"What the hell, Nico!" She screams angrily.

Realization dawns on her.

"Oh gods, Nico." She runs up and hugs me.

"I didn't take you as the hugging type." I laugh, hugging her back.

She pulls away... And slaps me. "Yeah, Well a lot happens in 6 YEARS YOU ASSHOLE." She screams while laughing.

"What's with all the noise, Rey- HOLY FUCK NICO." Thalia screams as she walks out from the door left of us.

"I could say the same thing." I say, laughing at Thalia in her princess shirt and pink shorts.

"Yeah, well I live here so what's your excuse."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. You live here? What the hell did I miss." I question.

"About that. Thalia is a little bit not a hunter any more and I'm hella gay." Says Reyna.

"But what about your prophecy...?"

"I was a hunter at the time, so the rules don't apply I guess?? I'm not sure how that shit works." Says Thalia.

"Mommy, what is happening?" Asks s little girl that appears from the door next to Thalia's.

"And who's this?" I ask, dropping my 'hardened by pain' demeanor.

"I'm Bianca."
