Lily's Party

**Rose's POV**

It was finally time. One of the biggest parties of the summer was about to begin.

It's Friday night. Lily's sweet sixteen is about to start.

"Adventures are forever." I say. "Life is filled with many of them."

"What's the biggest adventure?" Lily asks.

"Finding who you are and living it." I say. "I know for sure Lily you're going on the right path."

"Thanks." Lily says.

**Luna's POV**

"Luna, one thing I can say about Lily is that she's a mystery." Jax says. "She's full of these twists and turns flaws and perfections, she's beautiful to learn little by little about."

"It sounds like you really like her." I say.

"I understand she's different from the girls I used to look for." Jax says.

**Rose's POV**

Zander walks into my dressing room and closes the door behind him.

"Something's up." I say.

"Yeah." Zander says as he shows me mine and Elliott's posts on Instagram. "Just saw the snaps too."

"Fine." I say. "It's nothing."

"I know for sure that you appreciated last night." Zander replies.

"One thing I know is last night was the first night I've fully slept without waking up, gasping for air." I say. "I haven't felt that feeling since Vincent."

There was silence for seven full seconds until Zander brought our conversation to life again.

"What are you thinking?" Zander asks.

"I have to hold back on liking someone so soon." I say.

"No you don't."  Zander replies.

"I got to." I talk back.

"It don't matter." Zander says, then pauses before continuing, "You got to show you're better without him."

"You're right." I sigh. "Ain't nobody like me."

"Plus you haven't posted from before you and Vincent broke up." Zander says.

"That's true." I say. "There's something else I have to do."

"What are you going to do?" Zander asks me.

I select ten pictures on my camera roll (each with Vincent and I with them) and delete them.

"Now I got to do more." I say.
"Like ten thousand more."

"And the ones on Instagram." Zander adds on.

"Let me do those first." I say. "Those are easier."

I deleted all of my posts of Vincent on Instagram. All fifty of them.

"This is hard." I say. "I don't know but I did it."

**Lily's POV**

"So Elliott, what do think of Rose?" I ask.
