Who Are You?

We decided earlier this week to do a cover on Fifth Harmony's Who Are You.

The high notes in this song are so powerful.

I love the meaning behind this song.

It took the six of us two days to film after dance camp.

We started on Monday August 3 and finished today, Tuesday August 4.

Above is a shot of Giselle at the barre in ballet class doing warmup.

We took some shots of Olivia doing some basic ballet choreography.

There was a video of Victoria, Laylal and Giselle doing a trio.

I also did a shot of me doing some turns.

We did so many takes of all of us singing the song.

Giselle didn't want to sing.

I took Ally's part.

Laylal took Camilla's part.

Nickelle took Dinah's part.

Victoria took Normani's part.

Olivia took Lauren's part.

It took so much time to film and edit.

Laylal starts off with the intro.

Then Olivia and Victoria take the first verse.

Nickelle and I took the first pre chorus.

Nickelle takes the first chorus along with harmonies from the rest of us.

Victoria takes the second verse

Laylal and I take the second pre chorus.

Nickelle takes the chorus again alongside everyone's harmonies.

Nickelle and Victoria take most of the bridge.

Laylal and Olivia belt out the last two lines of the bridge along with my powerful harmonies.

Nickelle and I belt out the last chorus together.

Throughout this song, there was harmonies around it.

On the evening of August 4, we watched the finished video before posting it on our own YouTube channels along with behind the scenes videos and the choreography in separate videos.

"This looks really good." I said.

"We all have to film one last group shot." Laylal said.

"Plus a group picture in the end." Giselle said.

We filmed the last group shot and took the group picture.

I filmed two solo shots of myself talking about the video and my experience so far in Paris with the dance camp and all.

I'm glad that I did a cover in Paris.

It's a rare experience that I'm glad that I took advantage of it.

Elliot calls me once I finish the shots.

"I just filmed a cover." I tell him. "It should be up soon."

"Okay." Elliott said.

"Hi Rose!" Leslie shouts.

"Hi Leslie, how are dance classes?" I ask Leslie.

"It's good!" Leslie yells. "All of your friends and teachers there are helping me."

"She loves it there." Elliott said. "When I picked her up today, she didn't want to leave so she made a huge scene."

I was hysterical.

"That's how I was with my mother whenever we left the dance studio." I said.

"See Eli, I'm not the only one." Leslie said.

"Time for bed Leslie." Bryant said. "Nice seeing ya Rose."

Elliott and I talked for a little bit longer before I had to head out with the girls for dinner.

Nickelle and Giselle went home.

Olivia, Victoria, Laylal, Alexandra and I went to a seafood restaurant.

Then went back to our suite to get some sleep.

💭I was so tired.💭

Laylal talked with Benjamin for awhile.

Then all four of us got enough peace and quiet to get some sleep.

As I was falling asleep, the song kept on repeating in my head.
