Alexander's POV
I can't believe it's our last day here. We had a lot of fun, though.
"I'm so bored!" Sophia groans.
We're sitting in the middle of the guest house with the fans on high. It's not really helping. It's 90 degrees today.
"Let's go swimming!" Isabelle shouts.
"Yes!" Sophia and I shout.
Sophia runs upstairs to change, and Isabelle and I do the same.
"I've had a great time here, Xander," she says, kissing me.
"I know you did," I laugh.
We walk hand in hand outside. I dive in.
"Wait for me!" Sophia shouts.
She jumps in, and Isabelle follows. Sophia grabs the water gun that we left at "the side of the pool and squirts me in the face.
"Ooh! You're gonna get it!" I chuckle, swimming over to her.
I lift her up and throw her into the deep end. She giggles and dives under again.
I can't believe it's already been two weeks. It's seems like its been ages, though. Every day was so fun.
"Lunch!" Mom calls.
We all jump out of the pool and run over to her. She's holding a big platter of ham and cheese sandwiches. I grab two halves and sit down on a reclining chair.
"These are great, Mom!" I exclaim.
She smiles. "Glad you like them."
"Mom," says Sophia. "why do we have to leave tomorrow? Can't we stay FO a little while longer?"
"Sorry, Soph. Dad and I have work. Plus, Alex and Isabelle have the wedding to plan. It's less than two months away!"
Oh gosh. The wedding. I almost forgot. Well, I didn't actually forget, it's just... Oh never mind.
"I'm going to take a nap," Isabelle says, yawning.
"I think I'll second that idea," I reply.
We walk back into the guest house and change back into our clothes. I sit in bed and hug Isabelle.
"I'm a bit nervous, Iz," I confess.
"Me too. But it'll be okay," she smiles.
"I'm excited too."
"Me too. I think Sophia is too."
"Is she gonna be a bridesmaid?" I ask her.
"Yeah. It'll be her, Jackie, Jen, and Leven. Madeline will be the maid of honor," she tells me.
"And I think I'll have Jack as best man."
"Great."
"Have a good night, babe."
"You too."
