Mikasa walked down the stairs to the "med bay". It was really just a modified tent after Eren accidentally crushed the actual med bay while transformed. She could smell the smoke and the fresh air as the hallway opened into an outdoor military carnival. There were weapons tents, gear tents, one specifically created for the repair of 3DMGs, sparring grounds and many more tents just like them. Not a day had passed since Eren had plugged the hole in Trost, than these tents were set up.

She quickly ducked underneath the entrance of the makeshift Med Tent and searched around for Eren. Not that she had to go far. There was a relatively big crowd around his bunk. Most of the crowd left as she approached it, making up excuses to be anywhere, but there. The only people who remained by the time she reached the bunk, were Erwin, Connie, and Jean.

"Mikasa! How's your scratches?" Connie piped cheerfully.

"They are fine Connie, thanks for asking."

Jean just nodded towards Mikasa and muttered something about fixing his 3DMG before leaving Connie and Mikasa to talk.

"As you can guess from the urgency, Eren's behavior and patterns have been... odd lately." Erwin stated. "We are guessing that his human body is still adjusting to the restraints of his Titan body."

"Yeah," Connie breathed out. " I'm just hoping it was because he was kicking to much ass."

Erwin cracked a smile and then composed himself. He put his hand on Eren's shoulder and shook Eren's body.

"As you can see, its hard waking him up. Most people could be woken up if a sibling or a mother calls their name, and that's why I brought you down here Mikasa. I trust that you can keep care of him for a couple minutes while I talk to the Pixis about what to do with him." And with that Erwin exited the tent, trailed by Connie.

Mikasa just looked at Eren's still body. Most of the burn wounds from the titan where gone or fading. A single lock of hair laid itself over his face only to be brushed away by Mikasa's hand. Eren's breathing rose and fell with the breeze. For the first time in what seemed like years, Mikasa saw Eren at peace with himself and the world.

Eren began to stir as if Mikasa's presence made him uneasy. To comfort him she held his hand and sat down on the bed. His face then relaxed and his eyes opened. He lifted his eyes to Mikasa and smiled. His boyish smile was met with Mikasa's strained smile as they held hands the way that siblings do.

"They said they couldn't get you to wake up. I didn't even try to wake you up yet." Mikasa's confusion leading her conversation. Eren chuckled.

"The benefit of being able to become a titan-" He said as he tapped his nose "Is that I can tell who is here just based on smell." Mikasa decided not to push further.

"How are you feeling?"

"Awful. You?"

"More or less the same.Do you still not remember anything from moving the boulder?"

Eren's face darkened as if he had seen a ghost. His reaction meant he had, in fact, remembered something from the encounter. Mikasa never thought she would ever see him upset. She hadn't seen him this upset since his mother died.

"Yes...Yes I do." Eren said with caution. "I remember lashing out at you."

Mikasa leaned forward as if to listen closely. Eren flinched, expecting some sort of attack from his sister, just for being so immature as a titan.

"Tell me about what you remember." Mikasa said.

Slowly Eren planned out his next words. His memory is still in pieces so he decided to leave some things out.
