I know I'm such a bad influence and horrible friend. I talked Matty into skipping school and come with me. I snuck away from the house after Elena left for classes. Stefan and Damon went to go find out information. We pulled up to some woods on the edge of town.

"We have to walk from here." I got out of his truck and stared into the woods. He walked around to my side and gave me a look.

"Come on Matty it will be fine." I grabbed his hand and drug him to the woods.
We walked for what seemed like hours. I haven't been in these woods in forever. I noticed something up ahead. I kept walking to figure it out. It was the cave. I turned back to Matt and smiled. He nod his head and followed me. We walked into the entry. Matt brought out two flashlights for us. It was real dark. We just searched the place. There was candle pieces everywhere and lots of other stuff. I moved my light around and noticed something on the wall. I couldn't quite make it out so I walked closer. It was drawings. Kid drawings. I ran my finger along the wall. I vaguely remember drawing these. I moved the light around and saw my name in my writing. I drew a stick family. There was a woman with 'mommy' under it. A little girl with the word 'me' under it and a man with 'daddy' under it. Daddy? But I didn't grow up with a dad only a mom. What the crap?

"Matt?" He came over to me and looked at me. Then he followed my gaze and saw what I saw.

"I thought you never had a dad?"

"I didn't. I- I don't think so. I mean I don't know." I looked at the rest of the drawings. There was one with a girl riding a horse. A man standing by with his arms up. Label 'me riding Belle' and 'daddy'. There was one that had 'me and daddy' in what look like water. The little girl and man and woman in a garden looks like. The more I saw the more confused I got. I had to know what was this about. I stood up and looked at Matt.

"I know where we need to go now." I walked out of the cave and he followed me. We went back to his truck and I told him where to go. We went to the east side of town. We went to the county line and parked on the side. Once again we where tracking in the woods. I was determined to find answers. Matt ran up behind me. He was having a hard time keeping up.

"Mind telling me where we going?" I stopped and he slammed into me. I smiled at him and pointed to a cabin. It was very run down but we could still go inside. I opened the door and memories rushed back. Even long forgotten ones. Everything was how I left it those years ago. It was a small one room cabin. When you walk in is a kitchen with a table and chairs. To the right is a door and it's the bed room. We started searching for clues. There was hardly nothing.
I found an old doll I made out of fabric and twigs. I smiled at my memories of playing with her. I found my mother's old hope chest in the corner burried under stuff. I pushed everything off and opened it up. There was nothing but old diaries of hers and mine. I began to read them and quickly noticed pages have been torn out. Out of hers and mine. Something was being hidden. I took out everything in the chest and couldn't find nothing else. Only clothes and diaries. The occasional photos of family. I didn't care for it. I did find a drawing of me and a girl. She was label Naomi. I folded it up and put it in my back pocket. I stood up and looked around the room. I walked into the bedroom with Matt. He drugg out all the clothes from the dresser and threw them on the bed. I noticed some stuff animals in a corner. They were very neat I went over to pick one up. It was a teddy bear. Then I got to thinking about the toys. How neat they were and why would I still have them even when I was a teenager. I pulled out a knife and cut it open. Inside was a box. I put the small box on the floor and started cutting the others. There was two other small boxes. By then Matt walked over to me. I open one and saw there was a ring. I schrugg and put it back in the box. In another was a key. I was getting confused. In another was a necklace. A locket with my name on it. I opened it. There was an engraving.

To my darling little girl shall you always remain my world.
Love,
Daddy

That bitch was hiding my dad from me! I placed it back in the box. I just stared at all the boxes. Then I grabbed the key and try to figure out what it went to. I looked around. We had nothing with a lock. Then I went back to the corner. I noticed the flooring looked different. I stretched over and pulled up the boards. There was a lock box under the floorboards. I gave Matt a confused look and placed the key in the lock. It opened. Taking a deep breath I looked inside. There was more drawings pictures and missing diary entries. In the photos was me as a little girl and a man. Damon. Even some with my mom and Damon. I gasped. I handed the photos to Matt as I read the Diary pages. Some of my moms talked about how she was in love with Damon. Then some talked about the five special women.

"Matt listen to this. Today I took my daughter to see the five special women. I begged them to earse her memories of him. She will never know the man that broke my heart. Yes she may have to grow up without a dad but at least she won't have to worry about finding out what he is. How dare he lie to me. Telling me he was back in the army. That fool. He shall pay as well. He will never remember he had a daughter." I stopped reading for a moment and looked up at Matt. "But So does that mean even after he turned he still came to see me?" I read the dates and found the ones where she was pregnant with me and read them.

"Matt he was with her during her pregnancy. It even state's he asked her to marry him. Even went as far as buying a house for us. I mean she says that his father didn't like the idea of a child being born out of wedlock but was glad Damon was stepping up." I continued reading. "What a minute Matt I was a year old when Katherine showed up. She showed up a month after I turned one. And my mother was jealous of her. And of how Damon was looking at her and how much time Stefan spent with her. I mean like she just told lies on top of lies. I'm so confused. Come on help me gather this up and take it home." We loaded everything up and drove off. I watched the stars past by us out the window lost in thought. Why would she do this?
