I drove to the mansion. Two hybrids were standing guard outside. One open the door to let me in. I took my jacket off and walked into the den. I laid my jacket down and a girl walked out. I stopped in my track. I never seen her before. She was a hybrid as well. She glared at me.
"Who are you vampire and how did you get in?" She asked with an attitude.
"Um excuse me. I don't have to answer to you." She snarled at me and was about to attack which I wasnt scared, till Klaus walked out and stopped her.
"Now Viv we don't attack our guest of honor. She's important." His voice quiet.
"And if you ever do that again I will rip your little heart out. Got me sugar?" He smiled and turned towards me. He walked over to me and placed a hand on my lower back and led me out of the room. We walked into his study. I went to go sit on a leather couch by the wall. He shut the door and stood in front of it staring at me. I hate when he does that. Makes me feel self-cautions.
"What?" I finally say. He smiles at me and walked closer carrassing my face.
"Your so beautiful." For once in my life I didn't have nothing to say. I just bit my lip. He made a little chuckle sound and walked over to his desk and sat down.
"Now I hear that your curious of somethings." He placed his feet on the desk and reclined back.
"Yes I am. Like for instance is Naomi helping you with your project?" I smirked at him.
"Didn't take you long to figure that out now did it?" Really?
"Don't patronize me in that British accent of yours." I glared at him. I stood up and walked over to him. With vampire speed he grabbed me and brought me into his lap. I was pushing against him to get out of his grasp.
"As I recall you love my accent." His voice rumbled in his chest. I couldn't help it I kissed him But stopped it. The shock loosened his grip and I got up. I smirked at him. He looked at me weird.
"What is it now?"
"Your very peculiar." I shot him a look.
"If that's a compliment I'm not taking it. And what do you mean?"
"Well for one we always flirt around with the idea of intimacy but nothing ever happens. You try to get close but shut off. Why fight your attraction?" He was dead serious. I crossed my arms and sat on the couch. I looked over at him.
"I don't mind intimacy. And I can't help being shut off. Its my reflex I guess you can say."
"Then open up to me love. I'm here. I'll protect you. I'm not gonna say I will never hurt you cause that's a lie everyone will hurt you. You just have to figure out whose worth the pain." He was over sitting by me holding my hand. I stare into his blue eyes. Getting lost in the lake. Wait what is he asking me?
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying Selena I want you to be mine. I want a relationship with you." He stares at me. I'm shocked. I know Klaus always says he loves me but to acctually say he wants a relationship. I don't know. But he is sweet to me. And he was romantic back then maybe he is now. Oh God what am I saying?
"Klaus if we do this I want to take it slow. No rushing. And you always gotta be completely honest with me." I raised my eyebrows.
"As slow as snail and I'll be so honest you'll hate me." He smiled. I couldn't help my smile. I also couldn't help a warm feeling I felt. He kissed me and stood up. He grabbed something off his desk. A grimore. He turned to me and open the book.
"The spell as you know is an immortality spell your mother had wanted. And yes it came with a price." He and I both winced. "But this spell can also be used to take away someone's imortality as well. Hold on I'm getting there." He saw my questioning look. "Now the spell wouldn't turn her into a vampire. She didn't go to my mother. Sorry a little tasteful humor. As I was saying. She wanted to be young forever but everything ages with time. She wasn't hearing that. She got mad. But in order to keep her beauty not only sacrifice her first born daughter. Which she didn't cause your here. Now here's my next point. She was turned into a vampire." He shut the book and had a smug look on his face.
"But Bec said she didn't know an Elle."
"True but maybe Elle is short for something. I do know this. We can ask one of the witches that was there that night." His smug look grew. I stood up.
"You found one?" He nod his head. I walked up to him. "I love you, you beautiful man." I kissed him hard. Oh this is exciting. I asked when we can go see her he said tomorrow. I kissed him again and was starting to walk off.
"Where you going?" I look back at him.
"To bed." I winked and walked out of the door. I ran up the stairs and into his room. I ran and hid in the closet. I'm such a loser. I went to hide behind his pants. He walked into the closet with the look of a hunter. He looked around till his eyes fell on me.
"I know your there love." I groaned and got up off the floor and walked up to him.
"No fair you cheated." I poked my lips out pouting. He smiled and bent his head down to kiss me. I ran and got in the bed. He laughed and jumped on the bed grabbing me. He laid me down and kissed me. He lifted his head up and stared into my eyes. I lay my hand on his face and stared back. He was trying to help me find answers. Trust me he wouldn't normally do that unless he was getting something out of it. But he was doing it for love. I spent so many years trying to fight my attraction towards him. Trying to focus on the anger and in one night he brings down all the walls. This man is going to be my happily ever after one day.
"I love you." I whispered to him.
"I love you Selena." I love it when he says my name. I leaned my head up to meet his lips with mine. The kiss was a slow passionate kiss.
