Samantha's pov:

I stormed out of the cafeteria and ran round the race track twice- which in this school is quite a long distance, before finally collapsing on the side benches. My cut had stopped bleeding, but it still stung. I really need a bandage. I should have just sat at lola's table, but he was there too. I actually thought the silent treatment was directed to me, but I felt a lot better when I realized he was like that with everyone else. I mean it shouldn't bother me that he doesn't talk to me, but it did. I couldn't help but wonder what his voice would be like. Stop it Sam, stop thinking about him. That's right what he does is none of my business. He's a rude,  cocky arrogant bastard that doesn't know how to apologize. But it doesn't change the fact that his one of the most handsome guys I've every met. With his chestnut colored eyes, pointed nose, short brown hair that hugged his face perfect, broad shoulders, his chest and biceps that reflected the amount of time he spends working out, deep pink lips that silently begged me to kiss -

"what you did back there was so cool,  someone needed to put Thelma in her place" lola's voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up at her and her brother and smiled.

"today was just one of those days when I felt that I should remind you rich kids that having a lot of money doesn't automatically make you better than others. I said and she looked at me,  confused,  but shook it off after a while.

"anyways, I've been meaning to ask. Why aren't you in your uniform? The teachers here are beginning to ask questions about it".

"well because I can't afford that amount of money for now" I said and she made an O with her mouth. "you know it's okay if you don't wanna hang out with me anymore" I added, and she looked more confused.

"what makes you think we wouldn't wanna hang out with you. just because you don't have money like the rest of us doesn't mean you're not human"

"well the look your brother is giving me is kinda leaving room for those kinds of thoughts. " I said and as if realising it, he looked down immediately. Lola elbowed him in the stomach and he grunted.

" am sure he doesn't mean bad, he's actually the nicer twin- well outside school. I bet you'll like him a lot"

"I beg to differ" I murmured loud enough for him to hear, hoping it would at least make him say something, but no,  not a single word.
Frustrated, I picked up my bag and got on my feet.

"I should really get back to class now" I said and they stood up as well.

"Oh what class" she asked and I checked my schedule.

"history " I said and her face dropped.

" no fair, I haven't had any class with you all day" she whined and I laughed at her childish behavior.

"we can walk in together if you want" I  offered.

"okay" she said grabbing both my hand and her brother's.

"he'll show you to your class" she said waving at us,  and I almost begged her to stay. Great, just great.  Leaving me in his hands is the same as asking Thelma to show me to class. I sighed and walked down the hallway with him,  neither of us saying a word. I felt him boring holes into the side of my head, but I didn't dare look. I saw two doors and on instinct, turned to the one on the left,  but as usual,  I was wrong. He took me by the hand and opened the door on the right. I gave him a small smile and entered the class.

The rest of the day pass in a blur as with the next few days, until at last, Friday came.

I got home from school to find four trucks parked outside the house that had been empty ever since the Morgans left five years ago. Finally, maybe we'll have a girl for a change,  and she would have the bedroom at the window that was freaking close to mine. The distance between the window and my window was just about one foot long.

"come in or else the new neighbors will assume you to be a crazy stalker" Liam said and I chuckled before stepping in.

"close your eyes, I got you something" he said and I did as I was told. "you can open them now" he said and I did.

"ooo you really didn't have to Liam " I said taking my new uniform from him.

" I don't know if they'll fit though. I wasn't too sure of your exact size."

"who cares if it fits or not, I love you" I said hugging him.

"I love you too"

"wait, how the did you get the money to buy this".

"umm.. " he started, rubbing his neck.

"  you sold your stuff again,  didn't you"

"just a few things,  I wasn't using them anyway"

"that's a bloody lie,  what did you sell?"

" just the TV in my room,  a few shoes and my laptop"

"LIAM!!!" he was about to speak,  but was interrupted by a knock on the door. We exchanged puzzled look. We stopped having visitors about five years ago.

"probably the new neighbors" he said and I eagerly went to get the door.  I opened the door and I couldn't have been more surprised at the sight of the person standing before me.

"Oh.. My... God ,  Lola!!!. What are you doing here"

"well we just moved here,  and I thought I  should say hi to my neighbors."

"well that's great,  we can hang out even on weekends now"

"but... I thought you said you weren't rich " she said, stepping back to taking the full view of my gigantic house.

" am not rich, but I wasn't born poor either" I answered and she didn't press further,  thank God for that.

"anyway,  I totally forgive my dad for making us leave our other house,  its so worth it.

"please tell me your room is the position by the window".

"no,  that's ethan's room, I get the bigger bedroom cuz am daddy's favorite, y?" she asked, and then her eyes increased by two. "oh.. My.. Your room is by the window as well.  She  asked and I nodded.

" sadly" I would have been perfectly fine with my room being so close to ethan's if the guy actually talked,  but no, not a single word comes out of his mouth.

" did I say you were going to be good friends,  no that was a big mistake, I can see more than friendship in you futures".  She said,  rubbing both sides of her head as if trying to tap into the future or something.

"you're crazy" I told her and she dropped her hands,  laughing.

"come on,  I want to see your room" she said.

"hey, my house might look breath taking on the outside, but my room isn't really a typical girl's room".

"then how about we give it a little bit of Lola. I brought more things than my room could ever contain. Am sure my dad bought a bigger house all because of me and my shoes" she said and I giggled as I led her up to my room.
