Ethan's pov:
Empire high. The worst school you could ever attend, but to my mother, it is one that suits our financial status. I got dressed and slung my bag over my shoulder and headed out of my room.
"it's simple courtesy to greet your parents before heading out of the house". My mum said and I sighed before turning around.
" good morning" I said and as usual she scanned me from head to toe, taking her precious time to look over everything I had on.
"Ethan, tuck in your shirt, button up the last two buttons on your shirt, take off those snickers and put on actual shoes. It's a Monday for christ sake".
"I don't want to. I like my clothes the way they are, thank you. Lola, I'll be outside with my motorcycle when you're done eating" I said to my younger sister.
"oh no you're re not. No son of mine will resume school on a motorcycle."
"so how are we supposed to get to school"
"Ethan, there are many cars packed outside, you can pick any and the driver will drop you and your sister in school"
"no thank you, I'd rather go with my bike, I don't need a driver"
"there's a driver waiting outside, your keys now!" she said in that tone that meant I shouldn't argue with her." I threw the keys on the table, ignoring her outstretched hands. I stormed out, withwith Lola close behind me.
"good morning young master" my driver greeted, but I just ignored him and got in the car.
"morning David" I heard Lola say.
"morning to you too" he replied and opened her side of the car.
"why are you looking at me like that" I asked her when the car started.
"why are you always against mum" she asked.
"it's not my fault, she's just so... I don't know. I can't live my life saying 'yes mum' to all her commands. I said and she sighed.
"I don't get something though" she said after about five minutes of silence.
"what?" I asked her.
" you never fly out your shirt in school, you button up totally, and never wear snickers in school, so why do you always insist on them at home".
" I'd admit, I do most of these things just to get under her skin" I said and we both laughed.
"your a terrible twin, you know that?" she said.
"I do, but even if you tried, you'd never find a better twin than me". I said and pulled her cheeks.
We pulled into our parking space- just so you know, each family has their own parking space. I step down and as usual, the whole school was gathered at the front door, waiting for the moment I enter school. I Love attention, but they just keep over doing it.
"I guess it's time to go back to being the quite boy that you are definitely not." Lola whispered to me and I smirked. I walked into school with people asking if they could hold my back pack, or walk me to class, some even volunteered to carry me to class and as usual, I just stayed totally quite. The principal stopped us and started ranting about how I've started turning his hallway into a performance stage- how lame is that. He shooed them all to class and I headed for my locker with Lola walking beside me. And of course, the most irritating person in this school. The bitchy head cheerleader and her two bimbo friends. I guess they didn't hear anything the principal said. I opened my locker which was next to lola's.
