"One: No, because I already have one..... Two: I already do, so Yes.... Three: Other.... Four: It's real.... So of course the world wouldn't change... Five: For how I want it to change..... Six: Never... Okay that seems pretty much in order..." Taro says while filling out the questions in the back of the magazine.

"Mhm... Okay... I thought that quiz was fun, didn't you Ry- Huh" Taro's phone in his pocket starts to vibrate. He takes it out and answers it. "Hello? Oh, hey Babe... What do you mean Now?! Well I-I'll be there in a few minutes just hold on! I love you, too!" He hangs up on his wife. "Shit! We gotta go, Ryuuku!" And with that he starts running down the street.

25 Minutes Later In The Hospital Maternity Ward

"Hi, Uh excuse me is a Mrs. Akiko Kagami here?" Taro asks still out of breath.

"I'm not sure but I can check for you sir," The receptionist slowly and casually types on her computer while Taro fidgets nervously, wishing she'd hurry. "Oh Yes, third door on the le-,"

"Thank You!" Taro yells running past towards the room.

"Sir no running in the- Whatever," The receptionist sighs going back to reading her magazine. "Death Note? Nothing like that could be real...."

Taro sprints down the hall until he sees his own mother, his best friend Miura and Akiko's parents and brother.

"Hey!" Taro runs up to greet them. "Mom, How's she doing?"

"We have no idea. They said it was a complicated birth but it should go fine... but that's all they would say."

"Complicated?" Taro's face grows very worried.

Don't worry Buddy! I'm sure everything will be fine," Said Miura throwing his arm over Taro's shoulder. "Everything I'll be fine I promise."

"Thanks Miura, I'll make sure to take your word for it."

"Now Get in there and get me a God-Child!" Miura said pushing him towards the door.

"Alright!" Taro knocked on the door and it is opened a second later.

"Excuse me you can't come in here," The doctor says quickly. Taro can hear his wife groaning and breathing quickly.

Taro grabs the door before the doctor can shut it. "I'm the father, so I NEED to be in there!"

"Well You're late. Almost thought you were going to be some Dead-Beat-Dad." The Doctor Grumbles and lets Taro in.

Taro took that like a punch to the stomach. He would NEVER walk out on Akiko and his about-to-be child. But he wasn't gonna bad-mouth the doctor who was about to birth his son. Taro ignores him and puts on some scrubs that a nurse hands him.

"Hey Babe, How's it going?" Taro asks quietly.

"How's it going? Terrible! Ugh! You're late. God!" Akiko was biting down so hard, Taro thought she was going to chip her teeth.

"Do you want to record the birth?" A nurse holding a camera walks over to Taro.

"Of Course," Taro takes the camera from the nurse, turns it on and looks toward his wife. "AAAAAAnd Action!"

Some Time Later

"He's so..... Perfect." Taro was looking at him, his very own Son. He had no name, no past, no sins..... just a bright future. This made Taro sick from his head to his stomach. He felt incredibly bad about his own past.

"What do you want to name him?" Akiko was completely out of it so she left the task of naming him to Taro. He wanted his son to have a bright future. He wanted him to have friendships that would last forever. He wanted him to be a light in the darkness...

"I want his name to be... Hikaru. Yeah. That perfect." Taro looked over to is sleeping son. "Hikaru." He then turned to the laughing Death God in the corner of the room. "Excuse me, I have to step out for a second."

Taro walks outside the hospital, next to the edge of the parking lot. He pulls out a pack of cigarettes.

"I guess I really gotta stop these things now.... Hey Ryuuku. I want to ask a favor."
