"Mr. Teller."A nurse said as she walked into the room.

"Are you ready to take those beautiful babies home?"She said smiling. I had forgotten they said I could bring them home. I had to wait another week because Paisleigh didn't gain any weight like they hoped but Juice said now she was a full four pounds and six ounces where as Teddy was five pounds and five ounces. I wasn't expecting it to be so soon. It had been four weeks. Four weeks without hearing Charlie's voice, feeling her warm touch, seeing her green eyes, and kissing her. God I missed her lips.

"I uh..I guess so. If they are ready."I said part of me hoping she would say they weren't ready yet and they needed to stay another week. I still hadn't seen them yet..

"Want to see for your self?"She asked and I just blinked at her for a moment.

"I'll be right back."She said smiling as she left. I watched her leave while I sat back in my chair.

"Charlie...They want me to take them home..I can't do that.."I told her.

"I don't have the car here..I don't even know where you put the car seats at... I should get onto you for that because that means you moved them by yourself." I said feeling that lump come back in my throat and I swallowed it down.

"I'm in over my head here Baby.."I said.

"Thomas cries all the time and he won't stop. Abel is having nightmares every night. And he keeps asking me questions. Gemma keeps telling me to go see the twins but I just can't. I can't focus on the club. Hell the club can't even focus on the club." Leaning forward I grabbed her hand in mine and just held it for a second.

"My world is dark again Charlie..And I need you to brighten it up again. I need you to come back and turn the lights on because I can't do this. I can't do this by myself. You promised you would never leave... You broke your promise and you promised me."I said kissing her knuckles. I had no more tears to shed. I was out. But my body still acted like it was crying. My shoulder moving as I heaved out my pain. Leaning my hand on her hospital bed while I held her hand.

"You..You break promises all the time." A raspy broken voice said and I froze in my place.

"Give me a break..."The voice said as I lifted my head, as I felt Charlie's hand slowly tighten around mine. I looked up to her. To see Charlie her eyes closed and watched as her chest rose and fell in a steady pace.

"Charlie.."I said softly. Opening her eyes slowly I watched while my favorite pair of green eyes looked at me.

"Hey stranger.."She said softly and squeezed my hand. When I thought I didn't have any tears left a burning sensation that I got so used to came back as I smiled and leaned forward to place my lips on hers. Pulling away I kissed her forehead and my free hand held her cheek.

"You scared the hell out of me."I said kissing her skin."Oh God, I love you."

"You worry too much."She said lowly.

"I love God too..."She said and tried to laugh. She was joking. This was too good to be true. Though her laugh turned into a cough that had me worried yet again.

"Water.."She said and I let go of her and almost ran to the counter where the pitcher of water was and a cup. I barely got the water in the cup due to my shaky hands and trying to see with tear stained vision. I handed the cup to her, but held onto to it helping her tilt the cup. Hearing her take a few sips was the best sound I had heard in a month. Once she was done I sat the cup aside and stood next to her taking her hand in mine. I kissed her hand one more time staring at her.
