Charlie
Getting out of my car I noticed all the bikes in a line outside of the clubhouse. Jax had sent me a message saying that he was going to be late tonight. Now seeing all the bikes I knew why. Something had to be going on. I was almost positive it had to do with the cartel and what they wanted the club to do first. I pulled on my flannel making sure that it covered up my stomach enough to conceal my baby bump. I was hoping that the lady in the restroom of the hospital hadn't told too many people that I was pregnant. I wanted it to be a secret just a little while longer. I could feel some nervousness flow through me the closer I got to the door of the office. Knocking on the door I didn't wait for permission to open the door. I smiled when I was met with Gemma's eyes on me.
"Oh hey sweetheart." She said to me while she pushed herself up from the desk. Gemma greeted me as she always did: a kiss to my cheek and I returned it.
"The boys are with Unser." She said to me
"Thanks for picking them up. My last client changed their mind on the stencil three times" I said to her. She waved off my words before she sat back down.
"Wasn't a problem at all."She told me.
"You know what's going on over there?" I asked her, motioning my head towards the club. She shook her head at me.
"Was hoping you would. I'm sure you could just go in there and ask." Gemma said to me. I had to look away from her gaze. There was a certain envious tone to her words. Recently I had been accepted into the chapel with open arms. Most of the time I sat in the corner while they spoke, unless the conversation had something to do with me then I stood at Jax's side.
"I wasn't invited so I don't think I could." I told her in response. I watched as she gave me a raised eyebrow questioning my words.
"Mom and Dad fighting again?" She asked me and I rolled my eyes.
"Not exactly." I told her. It wasn't a whole lie. We really weren't fighting. I was still irritated with him about telling the club that I was pregnant. That was a secret that we both agreed on keeping but he broke that without even asking me about it. Now he was irritated with how easily I wanted to allow Wendy to be a part of the boys' lives. This was something that I saw completely harmless and didn't understand his irritation behind it. But I couldn't explain or bring up any of that to Gemma.
"You got another old ex that Jax doesn't know about that wants to get tattooed?" She asked, cracking a smile at me and I gave her a short laugh in return.
"No. I don't" I replied. Both of our eyes turned to the door when it opened.
"Ladies." Chuckie said with a nod.
"Hey Chuck" I said with a smile.
"Theres a couple of girls out by the shop looking for Jax." Chuckie said.
"Who is it?" I heard Gemma say as I walked over to the window peeping through the blinds.
"They look like some of Nero's girls." Chuckie said from behind me. I watched as a too skinny blonde girl lifted up the hood of the car that the skinny dark hair girl was driving. The dark-haired girl looked familiar to me. I had seen her hang around a couple of the members during the club parties. I also remembered seeing her at Red Woody when we were on lock down. I caught her staring at me quite a bit when we were in there but she also looked away when I looked at her. It was obvious that she had some type of feelings towards Jax. I could feel the jealousy radiating off of her. When I brought it up to Jax he told me that he had saved her from an abusive pimp and that they had shared a few nights together but that's all it was. I understood the attraction he felt towards her. She was cute- too skinny for my liking but she had the dark features that Jax was a sucker for. The blonde I couldn't see any appeal with her. She looked boney and used. I'm sure she would fuck anything for a dollar.
