Is this the real me? (Rhett&Link-fanfic)

Oh, the horror...

Locke turned around, and he he'd never been so scared. Because what he saw, was the most terrifying bloodwolf he'd ever seen. He wanted to scream, but his voice was gone. Now Lily noticed the monster as well. She tried to stand up, but her legs wouldn't allow her. They refused to move. Lily fell and landed right in front of the monster. They both started screaming and crying. But there was no rescue, no one to hear them screaming. No one to hear the horror. No one to hear their desperate need for help. The monster got closer and grabbed them both by the collar of their shirt. It picked them up, and started running. 

" Locke, are you still there? " Lily asked, being to afraid to open her eyes. 

" Oh thank god, you're here to Lily. " Locke said, also being to afraid to open his eyes. 

The monster froze for a second. It was as if it recognized the voices of Locke and Lily. It carefully put them back on the ground.

" What are you?! " Locke said in disgust. 

The monster sat down, it's posture was sort of human. And there was something about its eyes. It started crying and howling. Locke recognized the howl. 

" Mickey? Is that you? " He said. 

The monster looked up at him, and for a second Mickey faced flashed were the monsters face were. She smiled. 

" Locke, I think she wants to protect us. " Lily said.

At that very moment a image of Mickey appeared in the sky, both Locke and Lily looked up at it and Lily shouted. 

" Mickey?! What's going on?! " 

Mickey just smiled, she had such a calming smile...

Lilys POV

The Mickey I saw in the sky made me think about what it meant. Did it mean that Mickey was dead? And if Mickey was, what had happened to dad and Rhett? 

" Where are you?! And where's dad and Rhett?! " I shouted

Mickeys face faded away and was replaced by cloud spelling " They're okay " and than one of the clouds showed dad and Rhett running around in the forest. They looked more human, but still very animalistic. Mickeys face came back and she smiled again.

" But Mickey, where are you? " Locke asked. 

The cloud changed shape again and spelled out " I don't know. " I heard Locke sniffing behind me, and I started crying as well. 

" Will you come back? " Locke asked. 

" No " The clouds spelled out. 

" Are you dead? " I asked. 

The clouds formed " I don't know. " Again. 

" How can't you come back if you're not dead? " Locke asked.

The Mickey in the sky faded away and a cloud like spirit rushed into the monster. 

" I'm not dead, I'm stuck. " The monster said, in Mickeys voice. 

" Are you stuck inside that monster? " Locke asked. 

Mickey started explaining how she'd given her power to change back to Dad and Rhett in order for them to turn back. 

" I couldn't see Jessie so worried. And you two can't live without fathers. " She said. 

" Isn't there anything we can do to turn you back? " 

Mickey sighed. 

" There is, but... It's too dangerous. And I can't ask your fathers to do it for me. They've done to much for me already. I have to leave kids. " Mickey said, she started looking less and less like a monster, and more like herself.

Locke grabbed on to her arm, and I did the same thing with her other arm.

" Kids, let go. " She said.

" I'm not! I refuse! " Locke said, he sounded angry.

" Neither am I! " I said too, and I was angry. 

Mickey looked at her arms, she looked very surprised.  

" Kids, I think you've done the impossible. " She said. 

I looked at Locke and he looked back at me. What was the impossible, and what had we just done?
