First Mission

That same time morning when the pinkette got up to train according to her new regime, Tobi knocked on Itachi's door. "Goood Morninggg Itachi-saan~!"

Itachi opened the door open and saw Tobi saluting. "Let's goo~!" He exclaimed excitedly and brought Itachi to the meeting room.

"Should I call Nagato?" Konan asked Yahiko.

"Nah, he's busy with finding jobs for everyone else."

They entered the room and pulled out a chair and took a seat at the circular table.

"We'll skip the formalities for now. First, we need to gather the rest of the Akatsuki members." Yahiko began. "Including Itachi, we now have seven members. With three more members, we can finally take action."

"Why specifically ten?" Itachi questioned.

Yahiko just thought it was just a nice even number to have and laughed at his answer. From the moment they met until now, Itachi wasn't sure if Yahiko was a powerful shinobi or an unexpected fool.

Konan gave an introduction of the remaining members. "I have observed and found three other capable and powerful shinobis. There is Sasori of the Red Sand from Sunagakure, Deidara from Iwagakure, and Hidan from Yugakure. Deidara and Sasori are young so I'm not sure if they'll join."

Age: 13

Reason for recruit: Secretly protecting Iwagakure.

Name: Sasori

Age: 14

Reason for recruit: Similar to Itachi.

Name: Hidan

Age: 16

Reason for recruit: Atonement.

The information for the reason to recruit them was summarized very concisely by Konan. Of course, their situations were more complicated than that but she didn't reveal everything due to the new member's privacy.

Yahiko leaned back on his chair. "Well, you did keep an eye on them for a while and you didn't just choose any shinobi."

"I'll go recruit Sasori. Yahiko, you'll persuade Deidara. Itachi, you'll persuade Hidan. Tobi, you will stay here with Nagato. We will take action tomorrow morning." Konan concluded.

Itachi left the room and Tobi nonchalantly followed.

"Hopefully everything will go accordingly, Yahiko."

The Akatsuki was finally operational with its ten members.

Everyone gathered in the meeting room at the circular table and introduced themselves with their name and the village they're from in a clockwise order: Yahiko, Konan, Nagato, Kakuzu, Tobi, Itachi, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan and Kisame.

Yahiko leaned forward and placed his forearms on the table as he laced his fingers together. "Great, now I would like the new members to keep one thing in mind. Everyone in the Akatsuki have secrets." Yahiko continued. "Konan, Nagato and I chose you guys for a reason. If any of you were not kind at heart, we wouldn't have recruited you guys."
