We drive into a wealthy neighbourhood and I watch the houses increase in size. Our family is pretty well off when it comes to money thanks to my dad. The ride has been a mixture of exhaustion and excitement.

"Mommy, are we almost there," my four year old brother, Jackson, asks annoyingly for what feels like the twentieth time.

"Actually, we're here," my dad says.

I sit up properly, paying closer attention to my surroundings. The house is much bigger than the one we lived in previously. Some of the neighbours houses manage to be even bigger, damn.

Once my dad parks, both Jackson and I sprint to pick our rooms. Jackson runs into a room only to find a toilet. "Have fun sleeping in the tub," I laugh.

I find a nice sized room with its own bathroom and a walk in closet.

I bring up all of my boxes with the help of my dad to unpack. Once I'm done unpacking everything in my room I admire my work and timing since I'm usually so lazy.

Sighing, I start to think about my new school in L.A. I hope that I can get used to everything considering I'm coming into the year really late.

I mean, I need to get new friends, get used to the education program, and I really hope I can be an added member to the cheerleading team which I highly doubt.

Now would be a great time to Skype Lisa, Vanessa, and Elliot.

I try to Skype them and fortunately it works.

"Hey guys," I yell happily, blowing them kisses.

"Awwn babe, you're adorable," says Elliot.

Vanessa pretends to start fake gagging, "It's not normal! Even when you two are miles away, you're still sickeningly cute."

"Awwn, I can only hope for what you guys have," says Lisa.

I cover my cheeks with my hands to protect my flushed face. Elliot chuckles, his cheeks slightly pink.

"Wow," says Lisa in awe, "your room is huge. I wonder what the view looks like?"

I laugh and do a little happy dance, "Yes, I love this house. I haven't even thought about checking the view but sadly I don't think it'll be something nice like the beach or nature because the house next to ours is pretty close. I'm going to go check though."

I grab my laptop, the screen still facing me, and go to my window to look outside.

I was right, the view wasn't nice.

It was freaking stunning, gorgeous, jaw dropping!

"Oh my gosh," I whisper.

Across my room, was a window showing a shirtless guy's back. Lets just say, he looked like he was in really good shape. His back muscular and his arms flexing when he put on his shirt.

I scream and fall on the ground over exaggeratedly like if his hotness is too much to handle- which it is.

"What happened," questions Elliot while my friends are snickering like they know what I saw.

"Oh, nothing," I say to Elliot quickly.

He looks at me with a skeptical expression, "What do you mean nothing? You just screamed and fell, are you okay?"

I blush bright red, I think I could put a tomato to shame right now. "Is someone worried about me," I tease and try to change the subject.

"Yes," Elliot says bluntly.

"Awwn, love you too babe," I tell him.

"How was your first day as cheerleading captain," I question Vanessa, changing the topic.

She looks at me with guilt, "I'm sorry that you had to give me your position on the team because you were forced to move," I sucked in a sharp breath, "but really good. I love it, it's really fun and I think I'm going to be great at this."

"Great, I'm really proud of you and it's no problem. You deserved it," I said encouragingly. "I just hope I can at least be apart of this team, even if I might not be the captain," I continue.

We talk about school, cheerleading, and soccer.

"Lacey, it's time to eat," Jackson yells.

"Guys, I have to go eat," I repeat to them, playing with my necklace.

They all wave goodbye and yell simultaneously, "Good luck!"

"Guys, I'll text you," I exclaim.
