I'm 20,000 leagues under the covers. You've sank into the water with me, and we are slowly drowning together. I swim around you, you swim around me. We hold on to each other for dear life. You tell me you're happy you never have to be alone again. I tell you you are my happiness. And you kiss me, under the crashing waves of blankets, across the pillow jetties, and into the sands of sheets. You tell me I'm the prettiest pearl in the ocean. I tell you you're wrong. I tell you I'm a shark. I tell you you should be scared. You tell me that I am wrong. You tell me I'm too beautiful to be a shark. You tell me I'm a pearl. And that it took a lot of hard work to get through my hard outer shell to discover my true self lying inside. I kiss you. You kiss me back. And we continue sinking.

"Here at the bottom of the ocean, there is my happiness."
