Chapter 9 ~ Mother Gothel

Mother Gothel's POV

"I did as you commanded my master," Elliot says as he lands in the courtyard with a heavy thud. Gothel pokes at the wrinkles covering her face and says, "Very well done Elliot,"

"May I ask why I needed to speak to the one who broke the spell?" He asks as he folds his wings up against his sides.

"Because, I need her. If she is who I think she is then I've waited a long time to find her. Fiona thought she was smart to hide her from me, but it seems patience has won out in the long run."

"Who is she to you master?" He asks and Gothel rolls her eyes as she pulls the mirror from her face.

"You ask too many questions dragon." She growls as she pushes herself to her feet her bones creaking at the sudden movement.

"Apologies master." Elliot replies as his ears flops over in submission.

"To answer your question though, I need her to make me young again." She glances up at the dragon and groans in annoyance at his look of confusion. "When Fiona came to me with her little baby sister wrapped in rags nestled into her arm I was ecstatic. I knew from the moment I saw Fiona that she was the daughter of the one and only Merlin. Meaning the little bundle of joy in her arms was his child as well. What a prize to find and collect the only children of Merlin."

"The child is the daughter of Merlin?"

"Yes old one," Gothel says as she brushes the stray strands of grey hair from her face. "Now dragon, who was with her?"

"The evil Queen, Regina; the bandit, Robin Hood; The Pirate, Captain Hook; the child of Snow white and Prince Charming, Emma Swan; and the portal jumper, Jefferson." Suddenly the mirror nearby shatters causing the dragon to jump slightly at the sound.

"What did you say?" Gothel growls out as she slowly turns to look him.

"Master?"

"Jefferson," She pauses as her face slowly starts to turn red, "That no good piece of trash. Not only did he take away my precious Fiona, he also plans to take Merlin's second daughter from me. Not now, not when she is so close I can almost touch her. Fiona you worthless child, you thought you were protecting her from me by sending her to another world; but what you didn't know is that I had a little hand in where she ended up." Gothel smirks as she waves her hand making the mirror instantly fix itself.

"What do you plan to do to her?" Elliot says avoiding Gothel's angry gaze.

"I am going to finish what I started so many years ago," She replies as a devilish smile cover's her lips. "I'm going to rip her heart out of her chest and use it to make me young again. After that I will preserve her useless body in a glass case to add to my ever growing collection of beautiful creatures." Gothel chuckles as she walks out into the courtyard and looks out over the balcony toward the forest line. "Now Elliot, you must keep my plans a secret, or else you'll join your little friends in the dungeon understand?"

"Yes Master," He replies as he lowers his head in submission.

"Good little lizard," She says as she rolls her shoulders. "Now just to wait for our little guest."

Jefferson's POV

"This," She says before he freezes in place. Jefferson watches helplessly as (Name) pulls away from him and slowly turns to Regina and says, "I love you momma, but I have to know." Then she disappears in a cloud of (F/C) smoke making us all able to move again. He stares at where she used to be his heart tightening at the thought of her being anywhere near Mother Gothel.
