Percy POV

Once we'd stuffed ourselves silly, Leo forced us all to play truth or dare. After Leo had licked my armpit a few times and Hazel had cracked an egg on her head, it was Leo's turn to give someone a truth or dare. He chose Frank and said he had to kiss the prettiest girl in the room, not including Hazel. As Frank leaned in to kiss Annabeth I drew riptide from my pocket and pointed it at his throat. "Don't even think about it" I growled. Annabeth blushed a shade of deep red and her gaze quickly dropped to the ground. After that, someone made the smart decision to stop the game of truth or dare, and Calypso looked at me as if asking permission to start the plan. I gave a tiny nod and leaned back in my chair. "Hey, we were wondering if you guys wanted to come to a party on one of the neighbouring islands with us tonight?" she asked sweetly. Hazel and Frank looked at each other pretending to see if they were free that night and then nodded. "We'll be there" Hazel said. Then I looked at Annabeth and said "we're free tonight? Want to go?". "Yeah I guess so, sure." I looked at Calypso and said "we'll be there". "Cool!" Leo exclaimed. "I hear heaps of people are going, including Piper and Jason." Annabeth perked up at the name of her best friend Piper. "Who else is go....." Annabeth started, but Calypso smartly changed the topic, suggesting we go for another swim. Everyone agreed in an instant and soon we were back in the sunlight, splashing each other like three year olds.

Annabeth POV

Once Percy summoned the fourth wave to crash into Leo, I could barely stand I was laughing so hard. Leo's head bobbed above the water as he cursed in ancient Greek. "You do that one more time Jackson and I'll...." But he never finished his sentence because Percy knocked him over with another wave. Hazel had fallen over laughing and Frank was bent over clutching his sides trying to stay upright. But soon watching Leo get thrown around got old, and we sat around in the shallows talking about the old days at Camp Half Blood. Gods I missed that place. I mean, I love living with Percy, but Camp was my first real home. Chiron was like a father to me, and the other campers were like my brothers and sisters. I always felt a pang of longing whenever we talked about it, but the happy memories filled me with warmth and happiness, as if I was actually back there. But as the conversation went on, we got closer and closer to Percy and I falling into Tartarus, and a dark feeling crept up through my stomach. Percy must have sensed this because he immediately suggested going to the rocks at the far end of the beach. They looked as though a giant had been doing some spring cleaning, and just piled them up there, which wasn't entirely impossible... But it had become the place we used to jump into the refreshing water below.

Percy went first, doing a triple backflip from the highest rock, and then riding a wave back to the ledge we were standing on, no doubt trying to impress me. Second, Leo did a cannonball into the water, causing such a splash that we got sprayed up where we were standing. Hazel and Frank jumped in holding hands, Hazel squealing like a little girl. Then finally, just as I was about to jump in, Percy tackled me from behind, sending us both sprawling into the water. He held my waist as we rode back to the ledge on a wave where everyone was in fits of laughter.

We spent hours jumping off the rocks and climbing back up, laughing whenever Leo bellyflopped and mockingly clapping for Percy whenever he rode a wave back up. Finally, when everyone was sick of jumping, we climbed up to the very top of the cliff to sit in the last rays of sunlight for the day. I laid with my head in Percy's lap and my legs dangling over the side of the rock. As the sun disappeared over the horizon, we headed back inside to change for the party.
