Eight

Outside, Ricardo and Hank leaned against a tree, while Shmem, Billy, Snuffy, and Joey, sat on the grass.

"They've got two guards in the bell tower, two more in the attic of Fisher Hall, there's two in the infirmary, and two more on the roof of West Hall. That's eight." Snuffy said as he circled the locations on the building in the yearbook.

"Okay, three in the Quad makes eleven, and the leader in the office is twelve." Billy added.

"His name is Luis Cali." Ricardo told them. "And the three guys in the Quad, that's Jorge, Ruiz, and Carlos."

"That's right, you do speak a little Spanish." Snuffy said looking up at him.

"Don't forget the American guy with the glasses." Hank said.

Joey flipped through his drawings, and found the one of Jack.

Shmem leaned in closer to get a better look.

"Joey, you're so talented." she smiled.

Joey laughed. "Thanks, Shmemy."

"Yeah Joey, I didn't know that you could draw like this. They look amazing." Ricardo said.

"Thanks" Joey said.

They got back to their room after dinner. "Let's talk about how we are going to get this stuff to the outside world." Billy said taking off his shirt.

Oh fuck...

She had heard about how perverted Billy was before she got to the school, but she never really heard him say anything or noticed him do anything too bad since she had been there. She didn't know about Billy, but she was starting to think that she was the perv. He looked sexy in his tight tee shirt tucked into his tight jeans, his curly brown hair was fluffy and wonderful, and his green eyes were heavenly. She wanted to grab his ass so bad. He was weakening her and he seemed to get hotter and hotter the more she looked at him.

God help me. She thought.

Every time she looked at him, she could feel herself slipping away. Everything about him was perfect. Now he was taking off his shirt AND his pants!

Oh God...

"So, I've been thinking..." Billy started.

"You think too much." Joey said.

Billy ignored him and continued.

"When we are outside in the quad, I could hide the information under my shirt and sneak out through the door under the stairs at the school's entrance. It's always locked, but I can break the glass and maybe someone can fire a soccer ball at a window at the same time. I'll go into one of the classrooms, and escape through a window."

"That's great, Billy, but how are you going to sneak past the men on the roof?" Joey asked.

"I was thinking Yogurt, could use his plane to distract everyone. And when they turn away, I'll make a break for it."

"It sounds pretty risky to me" Snuffy said. "Maybe we can think of something else."

"Okay, go ahead. Try to think of something else. It sounds to me like Billy knows what he's talking about, but if you can think of something better, Snuffy, go ahead." Shmem told him.

Snuffy didn't say anything.

"That's what I thought." Shmem said.

"Whoa, Shmem. What crawled up your ass?" Ricardo said.

"I'm tired of hearing everyone complain about Billy's plan. It is risky, but it's the only plan we can think of. I thought all of you agreed to do this. If you guys back out, then it looks like it's just me, Joey, and Billy."

Hank sighed. "She's right." He said.

"Well, of course I'm right. Seriously, what would you guys do without me?"

Ricardo opened his mouth to say something but Shmem put her hand over it.

"Don't answer that." She said looking into his eyes.

She felt his tongue shoot out of his mouth and touch her hand.

"EW! You shit head!" she yelled hitting his arm.

"Ow, that hurt." Ricardo said sarcastically.

Shmem grabbed her bag and got a hand sanitizer out of a pocket. While she was putting it back, she noticed something that wasn't there before. She pulled it out of her bag. It was a notebook. On the cover, written in sharpie, it said, "To My Best Friend..." and there was a picture of her and Joey.

"What's this?" Shmem asked with a huge smile on her face.

"Oh, it's nothing. Just something I threw together." Joey said smiling.

Shmem opened it up. Inside, were pictures of them from over the years. Joey also wrote his favorite memories he had shared with her, and a long letter, telling her how much she meant to him and that he would always be there for her.

"Oh, Joey..." Shmem said with tears in her eyes. She got up and gave him a huge hug and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you so much! This means the world to me...I love you!" she said kissing him on the cheek again.

"You're welcome, Shmemy!" He kissed her on the forehead and hugged her really tight.

"Hey, Joey, where's my book?" Billy joked.

"Yeah, how come I didn't get a book and a kiss, Joey!" Snuffy wined.

"He loves me the most." Shmem said, then she stuck out her tongue.

"They are weird." Yogurt whispered to Ted.

"I'm going to put this in my bag to keep it safe...Thank you again, Joey! This is the greatest gift ever!"

She put the book back in her bag and wrapped her arms around Joey. She held on to him for a really long time.

"Uh, Shmem, can you let go?" He asked.

"No...I will never let go" She said.
