Shmem was trying to enjoy the fact that it was finally all over, but she couldn't help but think about Joey. She was still in so much pain. She lost both of her parents and now Joey, her best friend in the whole entire world. She still couldn't believe everything she just went through. It was unreal.

All the parents of the boys were showing up at the school.
Snuffy's mother showed up...Ricardo's mother and father showed up...Hank's mother, father, and younger sister showed up.... Even Ted and Yogurt's parents showed up.

While they were reuniting with their families, Billy and Shmem sat on a bench. Billy could tell something was not right and he knew what it was.

He put his arm around her and she rested her head on his shoulder.
He made her feel safe. She hoped and prayed that she'd still see him after all of this. He was an amazing guy and he saved her life. After all they went through, she needed him.

She noticed her aunt walking towards them with the headmaster.

"Emily! Thank God you're alright!" She said as she hugged her. "Let's go get your things and get you home."

Shmem looked back at Billy. He got up and followed them inside the school.

"Billy!" He heard as he was trying to catch up to Shmem.
He turned around to see his mother running towards him.
She ran up to him and hugged him.

"My Billy!" His mother said kissing all over his face. "I've missed you!"

"I've missed you too, mom." He said.

"Billy, they're saying that they're going to close down the school for a couple months for repairs...and I want you to come back home. I know we haven't had the best relationship, but I love you and I want you to come home." She told him.

Billy looked over at Shmem. She was heading up the stairs.

"I will mom, but first I need to say goodbye to someone."

He quickly ran up the stairs and caught up with Shmem. They both walked to the dorm room together and closed the door behind them.

"So...I guess this is goodbye..." She said.

"It doesn't have to be...You can call or visit me anytime." Billy said. He grabbed a notebook and tore out a page. He wrote his address and phone number for her.

"Here, let me give you my address and number too."
She wrote it down for him and he put it in his pocket.

"I don't want to leave you." She said.

"I don't want to leave you either." Billy said resting his forehead on her's.

"Anytime you need to talk to me, call me." He said.

"You too. I'm going to miss you!" She said hugging him.

"I'm going to miss you too!"

They kissed one more time, before walking out to the hall.
