Evie's Point of View
I continue to eavesdrop on Doug and my mom, wondering what the hell they're talking about.
"Just tell Evie her mother is Snow White and not you!"
I silently back away from the door, both hands over my mouth, shaking my head.
This can't be happening!
But it is.
No! It can't!
I continue to back away, but I accidentally bump into a glass vase, making it shatter all over the floor. It's like the glass vase is representing my life. Shatter and broken.
Evil Queen's Point of View
CRASH
"What the hell was that?!" I run towards the huge oak doors, Doug following behind me. When I open the doors, I see one of my priceless glass vase broken... and my daughter looking at us, hands over her mouth.
"Evie..." I try to touch her, but she backs away.
"G-G-Get a-away f-f-from m-m-me!" I notice Doug trying to calm her down, but she backs away from him too. I see hurt and guilt in his eyes, while my daughter has terror and anger.
"You have to understand, Evie!"
"Understand what?! THAT MY FIANCE AND 'MOTHER' HAVE KNOWN THIS HUGE SECRET, AND KEPT IT FROM ME!" It hurt me when she put quotation marks around mother. I am her mother! I raised her and I was there for her!
"Sweetie... I am your mother! I have been there from the start!"
"All you wanted me for is so you can live your dream. Live in a castle with everyone bowing down to your knees! And Doug... I can't believe you!" Evie put her right hand over her ring finger, and quickly takes the ring off.
"Goodbye. Both of you!" And with that, my daughter left me.
