"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."

"Mother! What chores would you have for me today?" I asked her loudly, grabbing my basket and some money we had. It wasn't much, but it was good.
"Can you get some flowers? The house has been seeming a bit dull lately." She said back to me, walking towards me. I smiled and nodded.
"What kind do you prefer, mother?" I asked her smiling warmly.
"Anything, bright, beautiful. A vibrant color for this dull, boring house." She said chuckling. I giggled and smiled, nodding my head.
"No food? Nothing?" I asked her, making sure she didn't forget anything.
"No, just flowers sweety." She said smiling. I nodded again and opened the door.
"I'll be back mother." I told her.
"Good, supper will be done when you come back, Arielle!" She said to me before I left the cottage. I started walking to the village, our cottage was in the forest. It was always peaceful, and we preferred it that way, but some days, I daydream about a world different from ours. Somewhere far away from here, but then my mother says to stop thinking such nonsense and sends me to do chores. I realized that I was in the village, I must've been daydreaming again, because the village is miles away from our small cottage. I smiled and kept walking, arriving in the market. It's a real shame that they're all separate, why couldn't they just combine all the stores into one giant store. I sighed and shook my head, focus, mother said she wanted flowers. I smiled and walked over to the florist, her name was Belina, well that's what she preferred to be called at least. She was very small.
"Hello, Arielle! What kind of flowers would you like today?" She asked smiling warmly. I smiled back at her and giggled.
"Mother said she wants a vibrant flower, something that would brighten up the house." I explained politely. She smiled and giggled, she already knew the perfect flower.
"I have the perfect flower!" She said smiling wider by the minute. She showed me the most-
"Beautiful flower I have ever seen.." I mumbled aloud. She giggled and nodded.
"It's what I call, MyFire." She said. She pointed out the red petals and white ones with occasional purple ombré. I didn't notice a boy was behind me, admiring me.
"Your beauty puts that flower to shame." He said to me. I turned and saw a boy with dark brown hair, big dark brown eyes, and he looked about..about my age. I blushed and looked down, smiling.
"Thank you." I said shyly. Belina smiled and teased us.
"Ooooooh~" she sang, giggling. We both blushed and I playfully glared at Belina.
"I am Baelfire." He introduced himself, but Belina gasped.
"The flowers are a gift, I must go." She said in a hurry. What was that all about? I nodded and waved goodbye to the small girl. He sighed and looked at me, was he expecting me to flee as well? I smiled at him and looked into his eyes.
"I'm Arielle." I said warmly, my heart started beating faster by the minute, my chest tightening and my palms started to get sweaty. He made me nervous, but warm. Happy, but sick to my stomach, and I loved every bit of it. The effect this strange boy had on me, I had never felt before in my life. He smiled at me, finally realizing that I wasn't going anywhere.
"Would you...Would you like to take a walk with me?" He asked me, his cheeks turning red. I grabbed his hand gently and smiled.
"I'd love to, Bae." I said, shortening his name. He smiled at what I called him and chuckled. I grabbed the bouquet of MyFire flowers and put them in my basket. He offered my his arm, as I took it. We walked away from the market and into the forest. Why? Why did Belina run from someone so..handsome..? So...sweet? If only I knew what was going to come to me in the future. That my life, would come crashing down, just for this boy. Baelfire.
