"Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye."
✄---------------------------------------------------
This boy, this wonderful mysterious boy. His big adorable brown eyes, his plump kissable lips, his soft touch and gentle gaze. He was perfect, my definition of perfect. We walked and laughed, telling ridiculous stories and unhumorous jokes that made us laugh anyway.
"Tell me about your family." I told him smiling. He suddenly froze and looked uneasy.
"Uh..I would actually like to hear more about you." He said, trying to avoid the question I asked him. I pretended to not notice and smiled at him, nodding.
"Ah yes, I have a mother at home, we live in the middle of the forest. I have no other siblings or a father though." I told him shrugging and sighing. I honestly didn't mind at all, it was well just being my mother and I.
"I see, how sad of you to only have a mother." He said softly.
"I quite like it actually." I answered back at him.
"She's the nicest woman I've ever met. She always makes corny jokes and lightens up the house with flowers and her smile." I said to him giggling. He smiled at me and nodded his head understanding.
"She sounds wonderful." He told me smiling more.
"She is, the best person to go to when you're upset, or feeling alone. Even when angry, she still can manage to calm your nerves." I said to him softly, smiling at the thoughts of my mother. We stopped at a tree stump and sat on the forest floor. I picked some flowers from the ground and started making a flower crown.
"Why don't you tell me about your father? Or anyone in particular?" I asked him gently.
"I know tis not my place to be picking into other peoples family business, but I just find it odd." I told him, furrowing my eyebrows in curiosity. He sighed and looked at the ground, silently.
"It is okay, you must open up to me when ready. How rude of me.." I said to him sighing.
"No, you are not rude at all. It is just...family matters are...complicated as of now." He said to me, picking at the grass in the semi wet soil. I nodded my head, understanding what he meant by that exactly.
"I see, I understand the situation you're in." I said to him, nodding my head at him. I gently put the flower crown on his head and smiled.
"The lilacs compliment your big brown eyes." I told him with a warm smile. He chuckled at me and smiled back.
"Thank you, but as I said before. Your beauty put any flower to shame." He said to me softly. I had not noticed before, but our hands were intertwined with one another. I blushed and looked down at the ground, a wide smile on my face. This boy would be the end of me, I know it for sure. Then why, why do I not listen to myself when my conscience practically screams bloody murder for me to run away, something along those lines?
"I...I have a question for you, and it is alright if you don't want to do anything." He said to me nervously. I nodded my head and smiled at him more. He was so adorable when he was nervous.
"W-Would you maybe...like to..have a picnic with me tonight?" He asked me, nervously twiddling with his thumbs. I smiled widely and nodded my head vigorously.
"Absolutely, definitely, a hundred times yes." I said to him excited. He smiled widely at me and chuckled, a slight blush on his handsome face.
"Great! This...this is great! I didn't think you would ever say yes to me, but it happened. This is happening!" He said excitedly. I giggled at how oddly adorable he was being.
"Yes Baelfire, it is happening." I said to him with a warm smile. I gave him an innocent peck on the corner of his lips, making him blush brighter than the morning sun.
"We can meet back here tonight." I told him smiling more and more in excitement and nervousness. What would I wear?
