Immature love says: 'I love you because I need you.' Mature love says 'I need you because I love you.'
✄-------------------------------------------------
As I had walked back to my small home in the forest I had thought about it. I have nothing to wear, I'm poor. My best clothing is ripped in holes because of the moths that keep sneaking into my closet somehow. Blasted moths. I sigh and go up to my mother, blushing of what I am to ask her. I took in a deep breath and looked down, shyly.
"M-Momma?" I said, then looked up using my puppy dog eyes.
"I looooove yooooou~" I said smiling innocently. She sighed and rose an eyebrow at me.
"What do you want?" She said instantly.
"Can you pretty please make me a new dress?" I asked her, on my knees and begging her. I wish I could say I am being dramatic, but sadly I actually did that.
"A new dress? What is this special occasion?" My mother asked me laughing and raising an eyebrow. I blushed and thought about him, Baelfire. I must've been obvious it was a boy because my mother started snickering.
"What's his name?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Moooooomma~" I whined embarrassed and feeling awkward about talking to my mother about this kind of thing.
"Oh come on, tell me." She said giggling and squealing like a she was my age.
"Mother I do believe you need more friends your age." I said to her, bluntly. She ignored my comment and smiled widely.
"Oh! I shall get more fabric from the market myself, I already know your measurements, and if the fabric is too tight on your chest, don't worry I did that on purpose-" my eyes widened and I blushed furiously.
"Mother!" I chided, feeling myself get so red, I felt like a volcano.
"What? It's suppose to show your beautiful womanly features. In fact, I shall get a beautiful blue fabric for you to wear! It makes your smile brighter than usual." She cooed, pinching my cheeks.  I nodded my head and sighed, I can feel the migraine coming to me.
"I shall be back before dark, and remember the rules of when I'm gone-" I sighed and nodded my head again.
"Yes mother, lock the door, close the windows, and don't ever and you mean ever open the door to anyone else. You have a key." I recited to her, perfectly memorized.
"Yes yes, I'll be on my way now." She said, opening the door.
"I love you mother." I said smiling softly at her. She looked back and smiled at me.
"I love you too, princess." She said softly, then sighed, nodding her head and closing the door. She always called me her princess, but as I've gotten older I've noticed she got upset when she ever did call me that. I sigh and shake it off, it's probably because I'm growing older and in her mind I'm turning into a 'Queen'. I smiled to myself a bit and started walking around the small house of ours. I realized I forgot to put the flowers in the vase. I gasped and ran to the vase, grabbing it and quickly putting the flowers into it. I sighed in relief when they looked still as beautiful as ever. They did brighten up the house, it's beauty, its color's, everything actually. I smiled to myself and giggled a bit with happiness. I bit my lip and decided to break one rule, I opened one window to see the outside nature. It was a beautiful backyard, flowers grew everywhere and were actually starting to grow on the house. I was happy with the scenery until I saw something that frightened me to the core. I close the window instantly and started breathing heavily. My palms were sweaty and my head was dizzy, I felt my body getting heavier as my legs started to tremble.
"C-Calm down." I said to myself.
"It's just my mind playing tricks on me." I continued to calm myself down as I processed what I had seen with my own eyes. I opened the window again to see it once more. Just like that, the boy and shadow were gone.
