What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
------------------------
After I had seen the strange shadow and boy, I made sure to close and lock every entrance that led to the inside of the house. I was scared out of my mind, shaking out of my skin. I had been sitting in the house for a few hours now, waiting for my mother to get home. As I said before, our tiny cottage is very deep in the forest, away from the village.
"Princess! Mother is home!" She announced, I could practically see the smile on her face as she made the 'famous' announcement. She opened the door with her key she had and saw my face.
"You opened a window." She realized, eyes wide. I sighed and looked down ashamed.
"Never mind that..I need to start on your dress." She said sighing and waving her hand as if to shoo away the problem. I nodded and smiled at her softly.
"Thank you, mother." I said to her kindly and gratefully.
"You are very welcome, deary." She told me smiling that heart warming smile that she gave everyone. She grabbed her materials needed to make the dress and winked at me.
"Now, let's get you ready for that boy of yours." She said excitedly. I giggled and nodded my head, feeling anxious for the dress to be ready.
"Now they didn't have the beautiful fabric I intended to grab, instead they had something better! Oh how beautiful it is Arielle!" She said smiling widely and speaking as if the fabric was from a fairytale.  She brought out the fabric and I smiled. It wasn't colorful, but it was pretty. Although it did look like twigs and such could attach itself to my dress, I wouldn't mind. It'd be a pain yes, but I will deal with it. I stood on a stool, arms out for my mother to take proper measurements of my body. She did need to make sure the dress would fit right.

After hours and hours, me exaggerating, of her measuring and poking me with her needle and thread the dress was finally done. It looked a bit dull, but a beautiful shape nevertheless.
"Oh thank you mother!" I said gratefully. She smiled at me and gave me a hug, chuckling.
"You are very welcome dear, now that I've done your dress and you've clearly done your hair, it is time for you to go on your date." She teased, giggling. It made me excited and nervous. Would I make a fool of myself? Would I come on as too strong? The possibilities were endless at this point! I opened the door and smiled at my mother.
"Goodbye mother, I love you!" I said as I walked out of the house. I closed the door and started walking to the spot that Baelfire should be waiting for me at. I walked through a valley of flowers making me groan in frustration. A whole bunch of lilacs were stuck all over my dress. I sighed and kept walking to the spot, not even caring of my dress anymore.
"Bae? Baelfire?" I called out as I walked to the spot. I heard a gasp and I turned to see a very very red Baelfire.
"You look....stunning...." He said breathlessly. I blushed and looked down at the ground.
"Thank you, Baelfire." I said smiling softly at him. He hid something behind his back and I giggled.
"What are you hiding?" I asked curiously. He showed me a basket and smiled.
"It's food. For a picnic." He said, he sounded nervous and awkward, but I found his tone undeniably adorable. I giggled more and shyly held his hand with mine.
"Shall we then?" I asked him softly, a warm blush on my cheeks.
"We shall." He said to me, smiling widely and squeezing my hand tighter in excitement. He lead me to a near by stream and grabbed the blanket from the basket, laying it on the ground and starting to set the blanket up with food and a single candle. He had gotten some bread, baked goods, candy, and some wine. Why did he bring wine? I'm sure we are too young to be drinking. He saw my look of confusion and smiled a little.
"I thought it'd be more romantic." He said to me blushing more. I smiled and nodded my head, understanding the purpose of the wine.
"One night with wine won't kill anyone." I said to him softly with a smile. He kissed the back of my hand and helped me sit down properly on the blanket. I had a feeling that this night would be the best night of my life. I really do.
