Missouri, or Sam is a very free flowing state. She is still adventurous and energetic, but chill. Sam is actually short for Samantha, but she thought that name was to much, so now she is known as Sam. Her bleach blonde colored hair sets her apart from other states, which she doesn't like. Missouri isn't the type of person to judge others on appearance, but is envied for her looks. She has a small frame, like most states, but isn't petite. She has lots of strength. Despite her picture, she is very cheery and excited. Not very respectful or responsible, and VERY stubborn.Her hobbies include taking long walks for no reason, fishing, and climbing trees. Sam isn't a heavy drinker, but often drinks just enough to be a bit tipsy. Smoking was an old habit of hers, due to much Native American trade. Missouri was torn apart from the Civil War, since she was fought over a lot, like Kansas. She is very active, and not so much of a girly girl. Her clothing is usually stained with dirt and grass, her hair a mess, but she still has fun. Her best friend, or "sister" is Kansas. They both share a love for basketball, and nature.Since they have very different personalities, they help each other out and balance their lives. Missouri has always remembered being left out by other larger, more popular states like Florida and New York, but she wouldn't let that get her down. She isn't afraid to speak her mind, and when she talks you will hear. Jazz, rock, and blues are some of her favorite music, and sometimes she will go out for a drink with Louisiana, and listen  to jazz. She likes quiet songs, and native ones too.They have always been very close, but most people think she has a stronger bond with Kansas. Much like Kansas, she fears another civil war. Some things she finds fascinating are birds, trains, and rivers. In her childhood, she spent a lot of her time on ships, boats, and rafts. She likes quiet songs, and native ones too. Although she is more reserved than outgoing, she is very dramatic, and has violent mood swings, just like the weather in her state. But another feature that accompanies her mood swings are her eyes, as they change from grey to blue depending on her mood. Colorado has similar mood swings, so they often talk about crazy weather and such.
